Heh, probably =P....of course, if they are spying on us, at least tap a few of us to do stories for them.

KILLS ANDUIN!
Wow... didn't see that coming at all.
They shouldn't have killed him. I can't see why they did it this way. We already know how much of a racist, genocidal maniac Garrosh is. It didn't have to be reinforced by him killing off a beloved character. If they don't kill Garrosh after this, I will be extremely upset.

/sigh If they really do this....that's just sad, especially if it's done in a Scenario.

How come? All the Anduin build up, all that great character growth for him....and then boom, drop a bridge on him, in a scenario, and we've all seen what happened with that for Theramore. If it has to happen, do it as a real quest chain, so that way people can see what the hell is going on....or you know, hope to the high heavens that this is like the Cata data mined stuff with Benedictus and Rommarth and it doesn't happen like that.

You may want to put the spoiler tag around that first line, Adams. Just sayin'.

If they do this....then it really shows they don't 'care' that much anymore; there is no reason to do this again, after what happened in Tides of War, especially to Anduin, who is one of the best characters the Alliance has.

This. If they go through with it, well, I only can see it as a very lame excuse to have both Varian and Jaina become ruthless and unforgiving.
It comes close to
reading Song of Ice and Fire
, folks (warning, language).

pfft, yeah right,
like they'd really do it
. I'm not buying it. Garrosh is very dumb, he could just "think" it happened, that doesn't mean it actually did. I say we wait till we have more data.
For the time being, my money is on this being a ruse.
If its not a ruse, then clearly this expansion has already started on the wrong foot.
Also, Black Temple scenario................ looks like they were being dead serious about bringing Illidan back.
Edit: After hearing the entire dialog, I noticed something important:
There are lines marking 2 different endings to whatever scenario this takes place in. In one of them Anduin seems to live (With garrosh saying "I will let you live so that you can tell your king of the price of his continued defiance") and in the other one (Labeled as "Finale 2") he claims Anduin is dead.
Now, my current take on this, is that the dialog on Finale 2 is if you fail the scenario. Its either that, or the entire battle takes place in a vehicle of some sort and thus garrosh thinks Anduin is dead. My main reason for refusing to bite the bait is that I'm absolutely convinced that Anduin has a role to play on the Legendary quest. Notice the stage 3 stated for patch 5.2, its called "The Two Princes".
Wrathion is one prince, and the only other prince we know so far is Anduin and nobody else. Since Liam is dead, Ironforge has no king, gnomes and elves don't have any monarchy, and as for the horde, taurens and trolls are ruled by tribal chieftains, Blood elves have no king (and even if they did, Lorthe'mar has no known sons so far) Forsaken have a queen but Sylvannas has no children (nor will she ever have one due to........ you know) orcs are also ruled by chieftains and a single warchief, pandarens have no established ruler, and while goblins have a "Trade" prince, lets be honest, the chances of Galliwyx being involved with Wrathion aren't exactly high.
Nope, the only candidate to be the other prince is Anduin, so yeah, I highly doubt they're gonna off such a major and beloved character in such an inglorious and unceremonious way.
I'm not swallowing it. Not for a minute. Not even blizzard is this stupid.
or are they? o_O
DUN DUN DUN! !

I'm pretty sure the "you" in that sentence is
you
, the player. "Yo, Alliance champion, go tell your king I just put an axe through his son's head. See how he likes that."

Why? Lots of good stories have done that for dramatic effect. It hurts more when it's someone you actually like.
But in any case, we've only heard one part of this conversation, from one party.
Plus, it's data-mined, so even having the audio doesn't mean this winds up in the final product. Remember before 4.0 when
Grand Magister Rommath
betrayed the Horde and revealed himself as a high-ranking member of the Twilight's Hammer? Yeah, me neither.

So........... I called it right. Jaina = Sylvannas 2.0
/sighs
there goes my second favorite character in the lore.
And I had completely forgotten Sabellian. Damn, he does counts. I still don't think its true, I'll wait to have the whole picture before jumping to conclusions.

I...doubt that one is true; just because if they did that, that means Horde loses out on all of the Dalaran stuff, since if the Kirin Tor goes Alliance, all NPC's in the city would be against them.

I'm not touching this. While I don't think they'd kill Anduin, (because this whole expansion seems to be the counterpart to Cataclysm, aimed at de-escalating the war (see Wrathion and the Sha), by pointing out that the conflict is only harming people and squandering strength we'll need for the Burning Legion. If Anduin dies, Varian has to die too, or he'll stop at nothing for revenge.) I don't wasn't to try and predict the future based on done sketchy data-mined sound files.

Game mechanics, same reason why Rhonin is still in Dalaran despite being dead lore-wise, they never updated Northrend so I assume that'll be the justification.
But...when the Northrend revamp rolls around, there goes the Sanctuary city; again, calling this one untrue, same as the Rommanth one back from the Cata days. Not all data mining makes it into the game.

Pretty much this exactly.
