/sigh Whatever Sold; if one out of context comment is enough to make you feel vindicated, you go right ahead.

Because of the fact that there were Alliance forces already in Durotar before the 'official' breaking of the treaty that happened in the Shattering. Also; it is out of context, since the conflict was around long before Garrosh showed up in Azeroth. I'm going to wait and read the book before I start declaring things.
Edit: I have an issue with people declaring people evil without all of that facts, that's what I have issue with.

You've said he's evil in multiple posts; you haven't said it today, but that doesn't erase your history of grabbing anything that remotely paints Garrosh in a bad light, holding it up, and going 'haha told you he's evil!'.
And the people who caused the current conflict between the Horde and the Alliance was the factions, with some help from the Twilight Hammer.

/sigh, sold is at his antics again?
Sold, bear with me on this:
has it occurred to you that the conflict Jaina and Thrall (I refuse to call him Go'El, this is warcraft, not superman) are talking about happens AFTER the cataclysm? Because the horde and the alliance seem to have forgotten about their war after 4.1 went live. First with Stormwind supporting the Trolls against the Zandalari, and then the joining of alliance and horde forces on Hyjal, culminating with more Alliance and Horde forces fighting side by side against the twilight hammer.
SO its clear that any trouble THE ALLIANCE stirred up BEFORE the cataclysm hit (You may yell and scream and whine all you want but the fact is THEY STARTED IT) was laid to rest once the twilight hammer and deathwing almost broke our world.
And now that those troubles were apparently subdued somewhat, Garrosh fanned the flames of war again.
See? there you go, that's you again taking something out of context, in an attempt to try and justify your very skewed point of view.
Also, lay off the bolding, jesus christ, we're not blind you know?

And bear in mind I wouldn't care if Varian started it since he wants to disband the horde, which is for many reasons.
Which is incredibly hypocritical.
As for Garrosh: Have you even once considered why he said that, when it comes to the Horde 'ruling' the world? Think about where he is from: He watched his home world blown into a 5th it's original size, saw his people turned into slaves of the Legion and watched them cheerfully slaughter each other since they had nothing else to do.
Contrary to what most people paint him as, Garrosh does everything he does for two reason: Honour and the Horde. To him, if his people(and that encompasses the Horde) live, that's acceptable....same as pretty much all of the other faction leaders.

I haven't really seen anything to suggest that the war stopped after the cataclysm ended
ohhh, my bad. I guess I didn't realized you missed the Trolls on Stormwind openly recruiting Alliance forces to battle the zandalari, or the alliance&Horde Forces cleaning up Hyjal (and no, I'm not talking about the members of the cenarion circle, when doing the quest on Sartharia's nest, as horde I've gotten alliance NPCs, and as Alliance I've gotten horde NPCs, showing that the factions are working together) or the alliance&Horde forces working together on the Dragon-Soul Raid.
silly me.
so unless someone can confirm that it ever ended
Maybe it never did, but even
YOU
can't deny it lost its momentum after 4.1
Pre-4.1 : Alliance and horde killing each other just about everywhere, across all of kalimdor and eastern kingdoms, as well as 2 out of 5 of the new zones.
Post-4.1 : Alliance and Horde, working side by side to battle the Zandalari (Both with alliance allowing Darkspear Trolls on stormwind, and the horde allowing Blue Covenant High Elven Rangers on Quel'thalas), then battle side-by-side again against the forces of Ragnaros on Hyjal, and keep working together against deathwing on the Dragon-soul.
We can even infer (from the short-story "Council of the six daggers") that they've been working together even before 4.1, since during the fight against Cho'gall, there was a blood elf and a gnome but on the fight against ragnaros there was an orc and a worgen on the battle against Ragnaros, and there was a human and an forsaken on the battle against Deathwing.
Get it through your head,
PEOPLE AT WAR DON'T WORK TOGETHER
.
And bear in mind I wouldn't care if Varian started it since he wants to disband the horde, which is for many reasons.
As Adamsm said, very hypocritical of him, since he's little better than the horde itself. Who sent assassins against an
UNARMED HORDE VESSEL
? ohhhh that's right.

Also, as said before.....Disband the Horde doesn't mean 'Okay, you all just go your own ways, and play nicely'.
For Orcs: Return to the living hell that was the internment camps, or even 'better' sent back through the Dark Portal to a dying world.
For Trolls: Since the Trolls wouldn't stop without a fight, guess the Human forces finally finish what the Kul Tiran's started during WC 3 and wipe them out completely.
For Taurens: Probably would end up turning Mulgore into a massive 'preserve' for the bovine people, with maybe a few of the druids being allowed to leave; everyone else stuck in in that one location.
For Forsaken: Completely and utterly wiped out, since Sylvanas and her people would fight to the very bitter end.
For Blood Elves: Locked away in the north, with guards at the border, keeping them from leaving their ruined lands.
For Goblins: Probably shipped back to the wreckage that was their island...yeah, that would be a 'fun' place to live, what with all the lava and the like.

Like I said, believe what you want. Arguing with you just gives me a headache and that's just something I can do without. As a matter of fact, I got plenty of extra arguments I could use, but I'll just not. You're not worth the hassle, since you're just gonna retreat to your private corner and repeat what you've already said, a billion times, until someone snaps, or quits.
So I'm quitting, If that makes you happy, then enjoy.
Believe what you want man, its what you do anyways.

Ugh, it's not ironic;
but Bender can explain it better.
And I don't know why you bother responding Rank, it's just going to make him feel vindicated.

Enough: If you want a fight go somewhere else Sold.
Again Rank, just let it lie and don't get in any trouble over this.

Rankkor
Like I said, if that makes you happy, go and do it, enjoy and live a prosperous life.
This is really something I don't want and don't need.
