Well, they ARE at war, so it makes sense that, after the big bad is defeated, they'd go right back at it
Its also a dishonorable and jerkish tactic and you know it, it goes against all that shiny "us r heroes" stance you so blatantly defend.
Deathwing wasn't even dead when they chose to imprison the horde troops. Its like, for a few few seconds, horde and alliance put their differences aside to fight deathwing, by transporting troops, the aspects, and Thrall to kill him, but as soon as they drop off the troops, aspects, and thrall, they immidietly went prick-mode and imprisoned the very same troops they were working with scarse seconds ago.
What were you saying about no gray morality at all?
I mean it's not like they should expect to be holding hands and singing kum by ya
.
But where did you find this?
@bolded part: first off its Kumbaya, and no we shouldn't expect them to be singing that during a war time, but this was a TRUCE declared between 2 warring factions, to fight a greater evil, and the horde troops, TRUSTED that the alliance would be honorable enough to uphold that truce. Deathwing wasn't even dead when they backstabed them.
@underlined part: Wowpedia. I read the entire pandaren starting zone quest-chain.
Jeeze......it's nice to see members of both the alliance and horde working together to heal him tho.
meh, only because the turtle was heading towards the maelstrom, as soon as the turtle is healed they go back into fighting. The pandaren just barely manage to broker another truce. Should I remind you that the alliance sparked all that by imprisoning the horde troops unprovoked?

The Night Elves take advantage of the Well's power and their new found freedom to push the Zandalari out of their former territories, enslaving any races caught in their grasp.Heh, slave taking Night Elves...that I can believe.

well, its about damn time, the night-elves have been chickified during all of world of warcraft. The feral, violent, xenophobic, dismissive race of Warcraft 3 had all but evaporated.
Maybe this time they're bringing them back?

Probably not, since that's from the past during the original Troll-Elf war that broke the Troll empire.

hey let a man dream will ya? the horde has been saddled with the forsaken since EVER, and the alliance has yet to be saddled with a similar black sheep. all hints of the worgen being the black sheep of the alliance pretty much evaporated, since the worgen ended up as that one illegitimate child nobody talks about anymore.

I know I know, but sadly, since apparently the Night Elves are the new diplomatic race, any chance of the original version is gone...well, till Maiev shows up again with whatever group of Night Elves she went hunting for that want out of the Alliance.

=O had to double-check her page on wowpedia to confirm :P I thought she had died on Wolfheart.
Glad she did not. Crazy as she may be, she's still one of my favorite characters.

Heh they tried to kill her, but it didn't take...which is not a surprise; Maiev is the god damn Batman of the Azerothian universe. But yeah, hopefully we'll see a continuation to that; after all, her new Wardens all thought the same way she did, and there was rumblings that not all of the Night Elves agree with Tyrande's decision to let the Highborne back in, so could eventually see a Night Elf civil war.

And the sad part is that if that ever gets to be the case, there's a 90% chance it will be resolved exclusively "in-house" by the alliance. No horde intervention whatsoever.
In the meantime, the horde has had 2 civil wars (Forsakens, and later on orcs) in which the alliance has been allowed to meddle.
not fair man =(

Eh depends; she could pull a Putress(not likely as she's smarter then he was lol), or one of her commanders could attack a peace negotiation, since the evil factions have proven time and again that that tactic works to sow dissent.
If she does something that involves the Circle though, you'd see both playable factions trying to take her out....but honestly, I kinda of would prefer not to just out right kill her: Keep her around, plotting and trying to break apart the Alliance; Warcraft actually needs a mortal playing that game rather then just the Legion/Old Gods.

Well bro' with great power comes great responsibility.
You now are the representative of the Lore&RP board within the beta, and as such is your SWORN DUTY to keep us posted of any interesting scoops of lore you may find within there. Gameplay, talents, that's all blah-blah, but if you get to see a quest of Anduin blasting a squad of mogu with holy smite, or maybe (I can dream) Saurfang getting back to the battlefront in full swing, you gotta say it here STAT
:P Enjoy the beta.
(Pst pst, Lillian Voss does dies on scholomance. We help her for about 80% of the dungeon, and then she's the second-to-last boss to be killed)

I shall I shall...but still waiting on the damn download to finish lol. Almost finished, but also after 3am here so probably no testing till tomorrow.
But yes, probably a Monk of both factions first, then a copy of a toon to try out the new RFC, Scholo and SM's. From there...dunno yet lol. Maybe swap back and forth between Horde and Alliance to test out the zones, and give the dungeons a run or two lol.
