You know what would be interesting?
If Jaina were a lesbian.

not opposed to that idea, as that would at least put her away from varian for good.
I swear to god a bit of me will DIE if they dare to marry her to that damn manchild varian.
the problem is: if she were one, who would be her pair? WoW has a noticeable trend of lack of noticeable female leads (that aren't crazy, or a mere shadow of a bigger man)

If Jaina were a lesbian.
No.
I could imagine her becoming asexual by choice because of the whole Arthas fiasco. Lesbian though? No.

maybe asexual would be a bit too much, simply celibate would be sufficient (Though maybe those 2 are the same thing? I dunno)
All I know is that ANYTHING is better than pairing her off with varian.
Just so I can express as clearly as possible how against that union I am, I'd very much prefer Jaina married Hogger than Varian,
I MEAN IT!

I know they said it will never happen, but I really wish Blizz did a Crossover of Warcraft with their other universes.
=( I would had loved to see a few protoss zealots on uldum. Heck they already had added a slight easter-egg crossover on warcraft 3 (The zerglings, orc firebats, and from diablo, Writs left leg)

They're working on it: It's called Blizzard DoTA. Anything greater than that would destroy lore (further, depending on your opinion). While I agree it would be cool, sometimes Rule of Cool has to be set aside so things make sense.

A very small cameo wouldn't hurt lore so much.
On uldum, finding a small group of stranded Protoss that got warped to azeroth due to a glitchy portal getting sent back to their world would be a slight crossover that would leave lore relatively intact.

We must not be seeing things on the same level, to me that would do some heavy damage to the universe. The fanbase of both games would start demanding that more Protoss and even zerg and terran not only appear in Warcraft, but that Warcraft characters make an appearence in Starcraft as well. This would either prompt Blizzard to have to add the characters, which would alter stories and character developments in such a way as to make it inconcivable and just plain weird, or to ignore the demands of the fanbase and risk loosing subsribers/money.
To me, it would be like if Harry Potter and Artemis Foul teamed up to go back in time and help Eragon fight Galbatorix. As cool as that would be, it would just be weird and out of place in the end. Kinda like the Yu-gi-oh 11(ish) anneversiry movie (the time-travel one).

I thought we already had cameos...

Because Uldum wasn't weird, random, and rather forced in enough as is.
Also, it would be terrible just because of the amount of fan-fics and pseudo RP's that would be made.

That's only due to your dislike of the Horde. You were absolutely fine with Wrath, you can try to twist it how ever you'd like.
Um....good job on looking at someone's profile? My most active current character for the last 3 months has been a BE Death Knight...but good try to make it like it's an anti-Horde post! /thumbs up to the fail
Rank, I'm sorry, but I'm completely sick of
everything
; the books, the stories on the website, and in game itself painting Thrall as a superhero: He's gone from an interesting character, to just a basic writer stand-in. The Shattering book would have honestly been a lot better without the sudden cuts to Thrall and Aggra having their spats which didn't add much to the fact that #$%^ was going down in Azeroth. Twilight of the Aspects got really old really fast with the miraculous Thrall figuring out that special thing he needs to do, things that were so 'obvious' the Aspects over looked it....At least with Tirion, it was in game only; not the entire WoWverse telling us just how awesome and incredible Fordring was; and Charge of the Aspects is still horribly written just for the hand wave to make it so that Thrall can be a hero even more.....

Agreed :P Adamsm (as far as factions goes) is quite unbiased.

why? when its someone else being painted nobody says a peep, let thrall have some love, and suddenly the world is ending...... =(
what upsets me isn't all the thrall hate I've been feeling up in the air with the fanbase. Its the fact that what they've done with him has been done MULTIPLE times with several other people, and back then, nobody said a thing. Hey, let now Thrall have some luving, and suddenly he's a living sin.
Can't and won't get why.

Because Thrall is way more important and loved by Blizzard than any other characters.
And he was specifically a Horde character.

It's because loving is one thing...but when it suddenly comes out that
only
Thrall can save everyone well...it's get's a bit much, since it's rubbed in our faces constantly:
Oh Thrall! Save us all from the might of the broken Elements!
Oh Thrall! Only you can pull this off!
Oh Thrall! Unite the power of the Aspects, since we can't figure it out ourselves!
Oh Thrall! We need to put you back together, listening to butt ugly Aggra still !@#$% while we do so!
Oh Thrall! You are so mighty, you can fight the current Earth Warder in the center of the planet and not just not get hurt, but you beat him back! When everyone combined couldn't! You is our hero!
Oh Thrall! Only you can use the Soul to stop the big bad Deathwing!
Oh Thrall! You have babies ever after!
I'm sorry, but with all of this, they are steadily making him a horrible character which is the issue for me; luckily, that will stop now that the next Expansion is going to be out and someone else can step up and save the world....of Warcraft!

and you know what angers me most? that when its the turn of someone else to be the messiah of azeroth, NOBODY will complain.
Hell, from what they hinted at blizzcon, Varian could be the next poster-boy of warcraft, doing everything to save the world, but hey, since he's a human, he's allowed to save the day without anyone else complaining.
And he was specifically a Horde character.
and may I ask what's so wrong about a horde character saving the day? nobody was complaining when alliance characters did the same (and lord knows we've had no less than 4 alliance characters saving the world while nobody else could in the past, and it was all fine and dandy. Now that its an orc doing it, ya all are acting like someone's child has been eaten alive)
@Adamsm, Try to see this from where I'm coming from:
You can't honestly look at me in the face and say that Thrall is THE ONLY character (out of a franchise LOADED with tons of characters) to be portrayed as the ultimate hero. Because he's not. Others have had their turn, and it has been just as cringe-worthy back then as it is now.
So, if it was ok for the previous heroes, why is it so wrong for Thrall? so far nobody has given me a straight convincing answer other than "the elemental bonds quest was horrible, and Twilight of the Aspects too"

The fact that he's been doing it EVERY. DAY. Since cata came out.

Now that its an orc doing it, ya all are acting like someone's child has been eaten alive)Rank it's not the fact it's an Orc to me....it's the fact that they took a massive ^&*! on Thrall's character for Cata; gone is the Warchief who knew what he was doing and was willing to make sure that everyone would come through...in his place is a character who wobbles between 'Woe is me' moments(seen in the Shattering and Twilight of the Aspects) then whirls around to the "ME AM THE GREATEST!" moments(Charge of the Aspects and Hour of Twilight/Dragon Soul), then has random complete WTF moments(The Elemental Bonds questline) where both of those are mashed together.

Actually I can man; because like I said above, it's %^&*ting on Thrall's character and completely screwing him over. And I never said it was okay; but in all honesty, most of the other Heroes were handled better: Hate the red-haired all you want, but he failed at things and at least his romance plot wasn't the massive tumor that Thrall/Aggra is. Hate on Mal, but at least he when he had doubts they didn't go into the same level as Thrall's did at the start of Twilight of the Aspects. %^&* on Varian till the cows come home, but at least he's been characterized in one manner since he came back.
And yes Rank, the stuff with Tirion, I barely noticed it or only saw it confined to specific zones, but there wasn't a new book with Super Tirion as the main character every couple of months. I could care less that Tirion was a human, at least he was still his character that we first saw in Of Blood and Honour.

how? go on, elaborate......
lets see: Shows up in the goblin starting zone, then he's never seen again except for one small (8 quests isn't exactly a lot) chain in hyjal (a chain that happens to be optional) and he's never seen again till the last 2 dungeons.
Tirion was seen far more often, pushing the plot by himself more than Thrall ever did.
And before him there was Rhonin, and before him there was Malfurion, and before him there was Turalyon and Lothar.
if nobody had a problem with these (alliance) heroes saving the day why with thrall?
I understand why you don't like the way thrall has been used in cata, believe me, I do. What I DO NOT understand is why you dislike the way he was used, but have ZERO problem with others being used the EXACT same way.
Case in point: from what metzen said, on Mists, Varian will be the next Thrall. And I'm almost willing to bet 50$ that unlike Thrall, nobody will mind that he saves the world.
