ya know its a shame they had to get rid of him so quickly, he could had made a far more interesting villain for multiple zones if they could had wanted to.

Well that's interesting. Canceled accounts can't post on the WoW forums.
Lord Godfrey doesn't work past multiple zones. He doesn't really provide enough story elements to make him a multi-zone villain.

The idea of a third group of undead spawned from former Forsaken has already been touched upon anyway. The Rotbrains. While arguably they are insane, it seems clear that although the Forsaken are willing (at least seemingly willing) to let undead go their seperate ways after being ressurected, they will not stand for any other rival groups sprining up.

And I'm sure the fact that he shot Syl in the head was in no way the reason that we went after him and his group. It's not the fact that they can't stand any rival groups, it's that the only undead that don't join the forsaken tend to be violent against them.
Well what you said goes without saying, my post was meant to be a tin-foil-hat thought on the matter.

Pretty much, lorewise newly raised Forsaken are told that they can choose their future. But there's two things to consider: every newly raised Forsaken who chooses to leave the Forsaken either goes to the Argent Nations (How do I love to coin terms) or goes against the Forsaken themselves. And the latter isn't allowed. Furthermore, there's no other choice, really.
Voss made another choice.

Let me rephrase that. There's no other choice that doesn't involve being completely alone in the world.
yep.
once you've been forsakenized the only options are:
A: Commit suicide (Or in case you dont have the guts to take your own life, attack the forsakens, thus forcing them to kill you)
B: join them, seeing as nobody else IN THE ENTIRE WORLD will give a sh1t if you live or die anymore, not even your friends, family and former comrades. For them you are now worst than a lepper.
C: Attempt to reach the argent crusade, the only other place that accepts forsakens (Since the cenarion circle requires you are a druid, and the earthen ring requires you be a shaman). but not everyone can make it there..... alone...... without supplies, or aid, in a land where everything and everyone is an enemy.
D: Live like a pariah, completely alone, away from civilization.

Honestly, a third faction of Forsaken wouldn't have worked in the way the game is now: What Godfrey did was 'justified' in that he refused to become a pawn again, but because he and his people fled to SFK, they screwed themselves as they picked a place where they couldn't escape: There was no way out of there as all around them were the Forsaken army. Had they moved on to any other locations, they would have run into the same problem: Loyal Forsaken to Sylvanas(even the psycho in the dead fields is one) would have tried to constantly kill them, forcing them to keep moving....and the farther west they go, the more Forsaken and eventually Alliance forces they run into.
As for the Alliance and Horde war; that thing will go on forever, just as current wars between people/religions/castes etc etc go on and on and on; even Thrall's Horde had issues with that.

Going on forever? Likely not but the factions are going to change before the war is over.
The War has been going on for 12 years at this point.

Exactly. The shapes of the Alliance and Horde have changed but the war still rages.
That's my point; no matter how many changes the factions undergo, the War will still be a massive portion because there are just too many who don't want to let go of the past.
