Hm, maybe if they kill off Sylvanas, Calia(having been off screened Forsakenized) will take over. As for the shards....really hope they don't do anything with them in all honesty.

ohhh I hope I see some references to the traditional chinese literature.
I swear to god I'll issue a squee THE MOMENT I step on a "Journey to the West" easter egg/reference/shout-out.
GO GO GO
Sun Wukong
THE MONKEY KING!
several real norse mythology beings made an apereance in WOTLK , such as loki, thor, freya, mirmir, skadi (though they reversed the gender for skadi, the original was a girl) its almost a shame odin dind't made it.
so if those could be added to WOTLK, I see no reason why famous chinese mythology beings from their lore and literature couldn't be added.
:P sorry, acting like a crazed fan who just got an overdose of awesomeness.......... its just that every time I see that trailer and see the temple of the jade, or the shodo-pan monastery (acompanied by the AWESOME zen music) i cant help but wish even more that the game was released already.

I'm still sad that noone asked about worgen offspring.
:(
they suffered the draenei effect.
(Read: Stuffed under the rug. Seriously, goblins get added to the horde, how many NEW horde goblin bases are there? over a dozen in old and new zones alike, of variying sizes. Worgens get added to the alliance and how many worgen bases are added? 2, one of them with just 4 quests, the other with just 2 quests, and a grand total of only 4 worgen NPCs in the high lvl zones)

humm he's not an "actual" monkey ya know? :P (he does has a monkey tail and he was the main inspiration for Goku on the original first story arc of Dragon Ball) Edit: ok I lied xD he is a monkey but he spends most of his time transformed as several different beings
besides, one thing is the monkeys shown on the pandaren starting zone (Which are no different than the monkeys shown in the goblin starting zone) and another is the monkey people on pandaria, because THOSE are befriended by the alliance ,while the horde befriends the Jinyu (a race of fish people)
still, if there's ever a Wukong reference it will be as a staff-wielding pandaren, wukong was not shy of fighting completely drunk, and just like the pandarens his trademark weapon was a staff (that he intimidated
the four Dragon Kings of the Seas into giving him
=D)
ohh god, they BETTER add some form of small cameo from him, just so we're clear, Journey to the West is one of four books that are regarded as the highest and most praised examples of chinese litterature.
This book is almost like the "don quixote" of china.

not really, but then, most adaptations of it were...... erm, liberal about it than others.....
this
is how he's mostly represented in most adaptations, but then again in the original book he was able to shapeshift into 72 forms xD so maybe ALL of the different interpretations of him are canon.

Sigh, ya. My only real complaint about goblins is that they get a huge capital-like city for themselves in azshara and worgen get no equivalent. Although goblins, for this entire expansion, have not gotten to see their racial leader since the goblin starting zone ended.
I just wanna know if the worgen curse is hereditary, sigh.
this is a running trend that blizz has when adding alliance races, and even though i'm a horde fan TO THE CORE, it upsets me too :P I dont like it when one side gets favored/screwed and the other isnt.
my general philosophy is that whenever they add something cool to the horde, they should also add something cool to the alliance, and whenever they do something bad to the horde, something bad should happen to the alliance. And vice-versa.
the fact that this has happened with 2 alliance races (draenei and worgen) who after their induction are pretty much never seen again is quite frustrating.
Blood elves had quite a number of bases on the pre-cata and post-cata azeroth, had quite a presence in WOTLK, (including one of the BEST quest-chains EVER) and a fairly strong presence even in cataclysm, but the draenei? other than 3 bases in outland and one VEEEERY small outpost on swamp of sorrows, and a "doomed-to-never-be-completed" village on ashenvale, have pretty much vanished.
you can almost count with 2 hands how many draenei NPCs were in northrend, and they haven't had ANY major quest-chain about them or their lore since the small cameo in sunwell. This is not fair, considering that after dwarves, draenei are my favorite alliance race.
Worgens had it worst, as at least the draenei got a couple of bases in outland, and azeroth, and SOME presence, the worgens have 2 very small bases in the middle of nowhere, with a grand total of 4 quests in one, and 2 quests in the other, and EVEN LESS major NPCs in the end-game zones.
=/
at least now that we got for the very first time, a race that joins both factions, there may be some alliance-pandaren bases after all. I have no doubt there will be horde-pandaren bases :P

They've really been paying attention to the forums since last blizzcon, I take it. I guess they didn't like their forum getting flooded with QQ threads about horde bias since last blizzcon.
It was their own idiocy that caused the horde bias idea in the first place.
I don't have a lot of sympathy for the QQ. :P

What I'm disappointed about: No one asked about player's power and their increasingly strong encroachment on canon.
I know! All the dumb people seem to get their questions answered.

I hope that makes it into the final expansion and doesn't go the way of Path of the Titans.
