Eh, never been a fan of FPS either only one I've ever liked was the original Doom; don't mind third person action games that have shooting in them though.

On an unrelated note, Jordon's "Oh god the rapture is burning" is an AMZING comedy.

I don't even have it on my computer.Eh, never been a fan of FPS either only one I've ever liked was the original Doom; don't mind third person action games that have shooting in them though.
I agree, although I do have some exceptions (no, not Call of Duty).
Third person shooters are pretty fun (Mass Effect I'm looking at you - yes this is a third person shooter on top of its primary ARPG genre)

hey there's a lot of good FPS games out there (mostly those that mix genres, because pure FPS are all generic and boring. Hide the HUD and take a screenshot while playing Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, and Battlefield, and honestly? you wound't be able to tell which is which)
Some of the best FPS out there: Half-Life, Portal, Deus Ex, Crysis, Far Cry (1 not the sequel), Fallout 3 and New Vegas (yes they are RPGs but they feel like FPS once you've maxed yourself enough :P) Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, Doom of course, Call of Juarez, Operation Flashpoint, and so many others.......
this broads itself WAY TOO MUCH if you include third person shooters (Like Mass Effect, Max Payne, and an ect too long to think about)

That's the thing: Both Tirion and Arthas used to be Alliance, but all during Wrath? They weren't anymore; one was the leader of the big bad army and the other was the leader of an army of both factions. Same with Kael; he started as an Alliance member, and was never technically part of the Horde as the Sunstrider forces of Outland followed Illidan, then went to the Legion side.
That's really just semantics.
So yes, I'm not happy with where Thrall has been taken in this expansion.
I understand what you're saying but the fact of the matter is, Thrall is not Horde at the moment, I don't care what Metzen said about becoming Warchief again.
Wait, wait wait wait........So because Thrall isn't Horde at the moment, means it's not a Horde hero being shoved in our faces the same you think that 'Alliance' heroes were shoved in our faces in Wrath? Make up your mind dude.

It's arguments like these that make me ashamed of liking the Horde more than the Alliance.
And the reverse happens to make you feel embarrassed about liking Alliance at times.

My last post was... Uhh Wild, Unfounded, speculation, but here's an interesting thing that I can't site in game ATM but The Old God Minion (Name please?)'s Entry in the Dungeon Journal states that N'zoth was AT WAR with C'thun and Yogg-Sarron, I assume that disqualifies him from that legendary Old God Trio which I never really cared for but I assume was an attempt to break themselves out, fighting amongst themselves just seems counter-productive, but yeah there is wars among the Old Gods :D Something that we already know but this is a specific instance of it :)

The Old Gods had the Elementals at war with each other for their own personal amusement; and C'thun wasn't a member of the Three either, as he was 'dead' at that point. Could have still been a momentary hold to the war while they tried to break out; or maybe Yogg was never a member of the Three: Only reason we think so is because of the madness scene that shows the forming of the Soul.

as Adamsm said, all 5 old gods weren't exactly enemies, they just loved chaos and strife, each commanded an infinite army of elementals and other eldritch horrors, so they played Chess against one another for their amusement using real-life pieces.
When the titans arrived, they "killed" (read: beat the living sh1t out of it and slammed it hard enough to the ground that everyone tought it was dead) one of them. This one was c'tchun, and everyone tought him dead till he resurfaced millenia later.
This leaves 4 other old gods, out of these 4, (all of them locked up in a high-tech prison like Ulduar) 3 of them formed an alliance of some sorts. And its these 3 that show up in Knaak's novel.
Yogg-saron and N'zoth are part of this alliance, with a third unknown member in on it. And a fourth old god who is not part of this alliance and is also locked up elsewhere.

Well dude, my point (and I'll admit to not being clear) is that the former alliance characters were in our faces far more than the former horde character is in ours this expansion. The fact that Alliance fans were fine with the former Ally characters participation in Wrath yet their hatred of Thrall in Cata shows blatant double standards. I'm clearly more a fan of the Horde but Tirion (and others) involvement in Wrath made sense and was able to put my love of the Horde aside and could admit it. THAT is something the alliance fans seem incapable of doing this expansion. I'm merely pointing out the hypocrisy of the matter.
I'd consider Trial and Firelands about equal for the amount of Thrall and Tirion we've gotten in our faces.....but the main issue? Tirion didn't have a crap ton of books come out based solely on him during Wrath.....as opposed to Thrall who has been, and rather then making him a better character, they've been standard fare at best that just leaves Thrall on the road towards being a 'special' hero, ignoring what came before. That's my issue: Is that due to the books that have come out, they've turned Thrall from what he is into something completely different and not for the better....this may be because we've been receiving an overdose of Golden though; at least there was quite a bit of time between Lord of the Clans, Rise of the Horde and Arthas; the Cata Trilogy? Not so much.

Gilneas was part of the Grand Alliance; it was Alterac that went against the rest.
