Also, I think it'd be neat if we had an Oriental theme to the new expansion. Dwarven samurai (despite that being Japanese) = awesome.
If we're headed to Pandaria (or rather, the continent or the whatever where it's located), I think we can definitely expect some Southern Asia inspired things. Even though there's already some in the game (Night Elves architecture and other aspects that I forget, etc.)
Such as the hunter teir set. That's definately samuri inspired.

This just occured to me recently.
The light appears to be just as addictive and mind-altering as any other form of magic.
Fel and Light both mutated the eredar. Fel made Manari, Light made Draenei.
Fel and Light both seem to have long-lasting effects on species that over use them. Fel made demons, the Light created Naaru and Night Elves.
Most forms of magic seem just as sentient as the Light, including Nature at the least.
Why are Fel and shadow considered all dark and evil, but Light is completely fine and dandy?

The Night Elves were altered by the Well of Eternity(Arcane), not the Light.
And as far as we know, Velen is what the original Draenei look like.

I thought the origonal Well was fueled by the "Light of Elune"
And I imagine Velen has gone through some alterations, including becomming immortal.

Velen was already in his 15 thousands at the time of the split(he's suppose to be 40 thousand at this point).
And no, the Well changed and altered a tribe of humanoids who dwelt on it's shore(whether they were proto-trolls or not is still up in the air) and from that change evolved a race capable of wielding the Arcane energies of the Well, which were used to shatter the Troll empires and allow the Night Elf Empire to rise in it's place.

So what is with the night elf race hating arcane and loving the Light and Nature?
And the Naaru are still a valid arguement for the downsides of a race becomming addicted to the light.

They see the use of arcane as causing their empire to have fallen and the coming of the legion.
As for the Naaru, in what way?

So what is with the night elf race hating arcane and loving the Light and Nature?Um....Queen Azshara, the Highborne and a little thing called War of the Ancients......
And the Naaru are still a valid arguement for the downsides of a race becomming addicted to the light. Not really, cause then none of the Draenei would be able to life without a Naaru in their village. The Naaru are more of a teacher race then anything else.

But the Naaru have been mutated to the point where they cannot survive without the Light holding them together. See sunwell as an example.

It's no different from surviving on water. Does having water as a necessity make it evil?

.......What? The Naaru are possibly the living embodiment of the Light, but they also have the dark phase of their life as well, which can occur both naturally and because of Fel Corruption(Mu'ru was a natural, D'ore was a Fel corrupt). And Mu'ru gave up It's life to reignite the Sunwell and assist Velen.

How do we know what the Naaru were like before?
