Reasons dragons are OP:
1. The breath attack; unless you are incredibly lucky and see it coming from far off, you may escape. The attacks from the dragons in question of course: Intense ever burning flames from Reds, Greens have that weird mist that can consume the ones it touch as well as the green fire that burns hot, Blues shot Ice that freezes the target into a solid block of ice, lightening and pure magic, Bronzes have lightening like breath and the sands of time to rip away at a person, Blacks have the magma breath and fire breath to burn you into nothing, Netherwings/Twilights have a fire, lightening and magic as well.
2. The size: against a full grown dragon, no matter what the game says, a hit from their tail, their forelegs or their wings, even a glancing blow will break you into little pieces. Add in the fact that their heads are usually bigger then a full grown ogre and they can eat you in one bite.
3. Their skin: it's hard to damage a dragon, what with the thick scales and all, plus the magic they are made up of....and add in the green's ability to phase away from physical attacks then hit you from behind...
4. They can fly: nothing like death from above.
5. The shape shifted humanoid form: Access to the flights magic, usually more powerful then a regular mage, and the fact that they are able hide in plain sight.
Against the Dragons: It takes either hero(read named Lore figures) levels to stop a Dragon...and even that doesn't always work. The Six and the mages of the Kirin Tor all blasted Deathwing and 'seemed' to kill him, and he came back. Onyxia died because it was both Varian's, Broll Bearmantle, Valeera, Jaina Proudmoore, Thargas Anvilmar and an army of Stormwind, Theramore, and Ironforge forces to take her down, plus a pair of magical swords. Nef was taken out by an assaulting army of heroes to kill him the first time, and a second one on BWD. Maly was defeated by Brave adventures, and the power of the Red Flight.
As for those that are raised up, so far there have only been two types: the Magmawryms from Blacks and Frostwyrms from Blues. Other then those two, no so many.
So yes, Dragon RP'ers are OP.

Well, the size issue is usually averted or not mentioned in an RP. If you step on them they will generally die, and if they stab you i the foot they will likely still be squished anyway. Ingame dragons physical attacks to far too little for my tastes, again rule of cool as showy spells are awesome but whatever.
Suffice it to say Dragons really seem to be the equivalent of the death star. Big groups are screwed, tiny ones have a chance.

Apparently there was more to tell about the worgen's introduction into the Alliance than Lord of His Pack told us.
To be honest, from what the description says, this might be a Knaak book that
actually
has some chance to be good. So long as he dosn't turn Varian into a worgen, that is.

Hm, return of Maiev, more on the Worgen, and another version of the War in Ashenvale...and people are still going to bash it unnecessarily, because it's a Knaak book /sigh. Still, sounds like a good start to it.
Edit: And just pre-ordered it heh.

@ritmas simple. The book is horrible, the author sucks, and the plot (if one can call it that) is completely trivial, pointless, and u can skip it without missing anything important.
If a book was bad, but had a key piece of lore that can't be ignored, one would ahve to read it, if anything to at least know about that important event relevant to the overall plot. But this book isn't that. Its both bad, and completely trivial.
To sumarize it on a single sentece: Thrall and Jaina have an agreement to not attack each other, servants of the burning legion want them to attack each other, they had high-ranking members in both Thrall's army, and Jaina's army.
they instigate a lot of fights, eventually both traitors are exposed, killed, and jaina and thrall can enjoy a more official peace treaty.
there, I just saved you 5 hours of your life :P

now that I think of it Last Guardian is a novelization of Warcraft 1, while Tides of Darkness and Behond the Dark portal are novelizations of War2 and its expansion (Having even the same name) but why is there no novelization of Warcraft 3 and Frozen Throne?

Same reason there is no novel of Halo 2 or 3?

Arthas is pretty much a novelization of those games from the human and undead perspective.
but that would leave the most important parts, the orc campaign and most importantly, the nigh elven one. As the whole climax of the third war was when human elf and orc stood together at hyjal to stop the legion.
