Sargeras vs. Galactus.
Speaking of which, I think we had a thread about that.

We had Algalon vs. Galactus, which we turned into Algalon vs. Silver Surfer, which we thought more accurate. I'd say Galactus though, even if I like Sargeras more.

Galactus could easily beat Sargeras, I'm afraid.

And Galactus, in a wide variety of forms, multiverses and other things, was defeated by Reed Richards, Doc Doom, Professor X, was most recently captured and turned into a living battery for the Annihilus wave.....Would be a close fight and probably end in a draw.

Well that's the problem with comic characters, they vary by who writes them. He's generally outsmarted though, I don't think I've ever seen him beat in a straight up brawl.

Oh, that's right, the other crazy-ass cosmo people God things. Still, anyone with a 'mortal' amount of power. Even the Silver Surfer was never really brute-forced by a mortal, while a human was able to kill Sargeras' avatar.

And don't forget the Ultimate Nullifier.

Meh, that's the problem. Some comic book writers portray him as everything but omnipotent. Others as extremely powerful. I don't think we'll ever have a definite answer.

Having a super power doesn't mean you are a God in the comic book world; there is always someone bigger, stronger, meaner, or just that much more #$%^ed up then you are out there. And the Hulk is the biggest, meanest, most ^&*!ed up there is; they actually offered him a spot as a Herald of Galactus...and do you know what the big green guy did?
More or less told him to go *!@# himself and bounded off.

Super power? That's the point, it doesn't necessarily. But if Silver Surfer can pretty much bend physics to his will, then there's literally nothing Hulk can do to him then try to set him on fire with his mind. But he can't always. It depends on the writer.

Hey, why hasn't anyone sniped Bruce Banner?Good question. I don't read Hulk (or really, any comics at all; I'm doing good to have borrowed a hardback compilation of Infinite Crisis from the library), but that's an interesting though. I know that some overpowered heroes like Wolverine and Deadpool (whose healing factors were just normal power until writers started pushing how far they could go with it) would just heal right up from being shot in the head, but I don't know about the Hulk.

Because unless the bullet does an instant kill Banner will Hulk out and heal up without any trouble. Hulk has taken hits that would kill even Wolverine and Deadpool after all.

He can't? He uses the Power Cosmic, which a large number of other heroes and villains posses.

Exploding bullet through the eye = problem solved.

Been tried, still wasn't KO enough. Any adrenaline at all, and out comes the Hulk....and once he's Hulked, you are *!@#ed. The more angry he gets, the stronger he gets, the stronger he gets, the more angry he gets. When it's the rational Hulk, it's actually weaker; the Berserker Hulk is still the most powerful creature on Marvel Earth....well, except for maybe the Void but it's actually hard to put that thing into a category......as it did destroy Valhalla at the end of Siege.

Not really. Even if his entire brain is just blown to bits, it'll be about two minutes before his internal organs shut down. Though I'm not sure if he could have a Fight/Flight reaction without his head.

You could have a pair of snipers shoot him simultaneously in the brain and the Adrenal Gland I suppose.
You could also give The Flash a knife... :P
Of course, the Flash could kill anyone if he wanted to... >.>
