It might already be posted, but 358 pages is daunting, even if you start at the end and work backwards.
Is there any kind of lore background on Goblin Shamen? I intend to make one largely because I'm curious about the lore for them. Goblin don't seem like the most "in touch with the elements". Unless you count being on fire...The going theory is that they have some kind of "contract" with the elements, in which the goblin provides some kind of service in return for the elements' assistance.

funny :P but just as the tauren call their paladins "Sunwalkers" the goblins call their shamans "Enviromental Engineers"
and yes, they are in touch with the elements but not in the normal way we're used to. Instead they are contact brokers between the elements and the mortals, often performing mutually benefitial contracts (minus the fine print) with the elements.

So just read Curse of the Worgen....damn good. And it's got the Ashbringer artist working on it.

You know, it's interesting. I remember hearing once that three fingers were common in Azerothian natives like trolls, tauren, and that four and five fingers are titanic in origin (besides the night elves and draenei).
Well, I recently noticed that it's the same with round ears. Goblins, elves, trolls, draenei, tauren (technically), centaur, orcs, gronn (but not ogres, interestingly enough), and demons all have pointed ears, while humans, dwarves, gnomes, and vrykul have round ears.
I wonder why ogres have round ears. They're believed to be bastardized versions of the Gronn (like humans are to Vrykul), but is is possible that they might actually have a titanic origin? Just a hypothesis, but it's interesting to think about.

Interesting point but I don't think blizz put THAT kind of detail into the backstories.Well, yeah... Ogres were introduced in Warcraft I, but Wild Mass Guessing is always fun... :P

Putting this here so I can remember my list of complaints later... :P
So I haven't been to Ashenvale on my Horde character yet, but I was watching over my brother's shoulder as he played.
Apparently
the orcs are downright
using Fel
at this point.
Another edit: Apparently
Garrosh seriously disapproves. That's good I suppose.
Edit:
It seems I've finally found an unmitigated counterpart to the Horde's brutality...
I found Oltarg in the tower at Honor's Stand, and looked him up on Wowhead.
Edit 2:
But, as it turns out, he's more than out-evilled by
this guy
. Still two wrongs don't make a right, I guess. Good to see
some
darkness on the Alliance's side.Hmmm... Interesting... I think we can scratch out the troll charms one, as, according to
this quest
, the Furbolg was incorrect and the trolls
did not
give them to them as a token of good faith.
Hmm...
I think I'm going to switch back to my old stance of withholding judgment until I have all the facts.

So, I just finished the Lillian Voss quest line.....no one is allowed to make fun of Rhonin or Med'an anymore, that thing has the Sue Queen title for all eternity.....Really wish I knew what the writers at Blizzard were smoking when they created her.

I understand she is a huge sue. Hell, if someone were to have made her as an RPG character, some forums would ban them in a heartbeat. But watching her death-grip five Scarlet Crusaders and engulf them in purple fire was awesome.
Lillian Voss backstory; (For those that don't know)
A previously secret daughter of a high-ranking general in the Scarlet Crusade. She was robbed of her childhood by he father's hatred of the undead and raised as a weapon against them. At some point in her mid teens, she died and was raised into undeath as a Forsaken.
I still think Tirion might be worse, lol.
