Eh, Master Org of Wild Force was up there; he killed the Red Ranger's parents, and they 'showed' it....well, they showed shadows of a man and a woman lifted up into the air on the deadly vines, and the vines went through them....

Never watched Power Rangers, and I'm somewhat thankful for it.
And I grew up in the nineties and everything!
Also, on Dag'rema, I still have my
Chained Essence of Eranikus
, and I can't decide which is more evil,
disenchanting
it
, or
just keeping it
around forever
.

I still have mine. It is amazing for AoE taning.
And I'm almost to Northrend!

I dunno. Hold it hostage until something is done with it (IE : Never).
And it's not and I must scream considering he can whisper to you.To Dag'rema. The one of the most insane warlocks in the world. And she doesn't reply, so it might as well be And I Must Scream.

Hm, new Archive
...strange though, as the Last Guardian is already part of the Warcraft Archive...

And there was another book that appeared in more than one archive, iirc.
But that's besides the point. This archive is supposed to detail the human/orc conflict from the Horde's beginnings to the aftermath of the Second War. The Last Guardian is an account of the First War (or at least what was happening at the time, if not the actual battles), so they put it in.

I've read the story from which that quote was taken, and it was a very good story. I'm referring to the TVTrope, though, and being trapped forever inside an object is rather close to the definition of that trope. Yes, Eranikus
can
scream, but the trope itself more or less refers to being trapped forever, to distinguish it from other Fates Worse Than Death.
And yes, I know Dag'rema is personal canon, and that in-game, she's just a level 61 Orc Warlock, but in-game the Chained Essence of Eranikus is just a green level 50 or so trinket, and there's nothing "sinister" about disenchanting it. So as far as personal canon goes, I'm attaching a sinister quality to either disenchanting it (deriving magical power from the dissolution of Eranikus' soul) or keeping it in my bags (remaining trapped forever).
Back when Soul Shards were actual items, I had a mod that showed which mob each shard came from, and I kept a "collection" in my bank, which I have actually used in forum RP by giving her a "special shelf" on which she keeps the souls of her most hated enemies, like her mother and sister.
And no need to sound hostile, I'm not being hostile.

I remember that self! Poor, poor, horribly concived worgen characters XO
And I think "I must scream" trope fits well for it and is more evil. Eternal torment has always been a better option then total death, in my sick, twisted mind. I say you go with that.
Although, in WoW cannon, was the essence turned over to that elf/dragon in Swamp of Sorrows?

Every single quest (or, at least, most of them) are canon so yes, you gave the Essence of Eranikus to Itharius.

I don't think there has been another one; no Day/Night of the Dragon archive mixed in with the Sunwell Trilogy heh. But yeah, I get that, just find it amusing; still, only saw it because I was hunting for the release date of the next Dragon of Outland book.....god damn March release.....
Every single quest (or, at least, most of them) are canon so yes, you gave the Essence of Eranikus to Itharius.
And then took it to the guy in Winterspring, who was a friend of the Green Flight....and the quest just ends at that point.

But in all my other characters canon, sure why not.
