Hey, I just had a quick question. Is there any particular forsaken character representing the "goodness and peace loving" in their race? like Thrall is for orcs, Jaina for humans etc.
Him
and
him
are the 'best' examples of the Forsaken.
I still stick by my original response to entire massive storm of 'Who shot first'.

Anyway, the original topic was if Anselm is a good guy or not.
Is it actually possible to discuss such a thing when all we have is he saying a very small amount of words?
We can place him in the decent guy pile so long as he doesn't do a ^&*! move, same thing I did with Shadowstalker Getry.
the original question was a list of forsaken that behave in a diferent way from the rest of the forsakens.
Given that most forsakens are jerks, who also play dirty, and have...... questionable loyalties, the list is quite small.
among the few mentioned are Leonid bartolomew (who is almost a saint) Trevor, Shadowstalker Getry, and Anselm.
now, other than leonid, the rest of the forsakens in that list may not be saints, but they do behave in a diferent way from the rest of their kind, like Getry who's willing to sacrifice his life for the greater good, or Anselm who treats his troops in a nice way (quite a change from the asshat High Executor on Venomspite) and also refused to rejoin the scourge as a frikking general, let's face it, most lesser men would had GLADLY accepted such an invitation.

and have...... questionable loyalties
Actually, most of the Forsaken seem to revere Sylvanas as their liberator. Putress and that small part of the RAS were just a vocal minority.
Which is either a good thing or a bad thing.... as she has proven she has no problem using them up to further her own agendas.

Which is convenient once her own agenda is the same of her people. KIlling Arthas was the first step, remaining relevant in the world is the second.
Still, the point was that their loyalties aren't questionable at all.
Still kinda of strange; 90% of the race is neutral chaotic, 8% were chaotic evil(the RAS) and the last 2% are either lawful neutral, or lawful chaotic depending on your view.

lawful chaotic
depending on your view.
xD, that doesn't make any sence bro' there is no "Lawful chaotic"
the 9 alingment ranks are:
Lawful Good, Neutral Good, Chaotic Good.
Lawful Neutral, True Neutral, Chaotic Neutral.
Lawful Evil, Neutral Evil, Chaotic Evil.
Lawful Chaotic doesn't exist.
(Edit: ok these captcha texts are oficially freaking me out, this one is "didn't research"

Question: Do draenei mages revere the Light? It seems they do, but they put more stock on the Arcane.

Question: Do draenei mages revere the Light? It seems they do, but they put more stock on the Arcane.
They revere mainly as the fact that their close friends and allies, the Naaru, are living Light. They know of it, they believe in, and it doesn't take away from their magic in any way. I'm sure, certain representations of Paladins not withstanding, that many Alliance and Horde magi are still believers in the religions of Azeroth.
I think Knaak was letting a little bit of Dragonlance bleed over when he wrote up his Silver Hand Paladins in Day of the Dragon.
