here's an interesting question i recently thought up. Are there time zones on azeroth?
Judging by the size of the world, I think that there would be very few if any.Well, it would physically impossible for it to have no timezones...
Also, I think the timezones would have more to do with the speed of Azeroth's rotation, rather than the size of the world.
Timezones typically are not used in lore, however. Sometimes I like to mix it up and give different times to Azeroth and the Eastern Kingdoms, but for the most part there is no reference to them.
I'm referring to the fact that one side is (supposedly) uninhabited, so you don't need to keep track of time there. Sure, there would be timezones, but the 24 hour timezones idea goes on hours, and I doubt that this would be such a drastic difference.
Juding by the map, I figure the time difference would probably be only 2-3 hours, possibly 4, between Kalimador and the Eastern Kingdoms, with Northrend somewhere in the middle of it all.

...Hmm... Interesting. I liked it at first. The suited Birdmen evoked memories of Slendermen and the paintings were certainly a nice touch. However, I think the ending was a downer. It went from creepy and psychological horror, to just trying to make you jump with violent sounds.
I've found that horror without violence can sometimes be the best horror. Take Marble Hornets, for instance. While there were a few bits with blood and jump-out-and-make-you-scream moments, the best, most terrifying moments had no violence at all.

Okay, so nothing to do with WoW besides the pet, but the voice quotes are hilarious!

Alright, can someone explain to me what the whole Naga plot to steal all the water in Zangarmarsh actually was? I did all the dungeons, but never got to the raid, and I really don't get what the whole point of it was.

Steal it and control it I guess?

Steal it and control it I guess? That still doesn't make much sense. Were they gonna sell it? That seems more like something a goblin would do, not a Naga. Was this never explained? That sucks.
Also: I'm doing the quest
A Visit With The Ancestors
and I'm confused. I've done this chain 4 times now, and I still don't understand what these
Visions of the Forgotten
mean. I understand how K'ure is drawing the orc ancestors to him against his will (although I'm still foggy on why and what it does), but what do the other Naaru have to do with it, and why don't they want me to fix it?
This whole chains seems surreal every time I do it.

It was meant to make the Zangarmarsh completely under their control, driving out all the races(I think).
For the second thing; I think the Ancestor spirits are helping K'ure heal and survive against the Shadow Council as they tried to perfect what they used to transform Mu'ru.

I always thought that they were planning on flooding Outland with it, making a new, shiny and nice realm for their big-breasted leader.

I wonder, how did the Ogres get to Kalimdor? They arrived to Azeroth from Draenor after the Sundering, but were stranded in the Eastern Kingdoms. The Orcs could have taken some with them that were loyal to them, like the Stonemauls, but how come there's such a large number now, and what about the hostile ones in Feralas?

The water thing is because "Water is life" (said by Lady Vajsh in SSC) and since its such a "rare commodity" in Outland they need to control it. Basically they are taking it all for themselves and their own survival.

Might be helpful for some.
Anyone else thinking we should create a thread for WoW.com posts and others like this (relating to role-playing)?
