Arthas attacked Dalaran before the shield went up.

I think he means the anti-undeath shield/aura they had placed on Dalaran in
this mission
.

Dalaran didn't change its symbol because of that though. As I said, the purple-pink is symbolic of Arcane magic; and the rune is somewhat similar to the eye of truth imo. ;)

I just finished my first Fan Fic!
Time of Death.
Also known as Death of Time. Thoughts?
edit: Now, back to making a graphic novel on Hiroshima for humanities... Sigh. I guess it's better than normal homework.

SI-7.
Heh, very nice. The hilarious thing is that I created a rouge just so I could get my hands on the steamy romance novel collection, so the last part was all too funny for me.

A rouge what, skirt perhaps?

Female Blood Elf. Seemed like a good idea.
EDIT: On an unrelated note,
Raid Eats
is funny.

meh, wasn't as funny as I thought it would be.
I hope the bronzebeard brothers one is more intresting (few things will beat the one about sylvannas xD, "night elf? I have no idea what are you talking about (Bounces idly) "
classic.

Anyone know if Arthas was "killed" or considered undead before he became the Lich King?

He was steadily dying after he picked up Frostmourne; that's what the hair and eye colour change was suppose to signify. Once he put on the helmet though, he was a true corpse.

Still, it seems that one can weild death knight powers without actually being dead - it was more of less Frostmourne killing him and there are Necromancers that arn't dead.

Not really; there are no actual 'alive' Death Knights after all; they all died before they were resurrected, even Arthas lost his soul, which started his death at the hands of Frostmourne. As for the Necromancers, that's a different kettle of fish; after all, the player Warlocks are uncorrupted by using fel magic, so it makes sense that the living can use Nercomancy, but, and you saw it in the RP Books, the Necromancer prestige class steadily 'dies' as he increases in levels till 20 when he's a walking corpse with his full magical power.
