So say we kill Deathwing, who'll take over his job? His children are all as nuts as he is.

No one? Technically Azeroth hasn't had an Earth Warder for almost 11 thousand years after all.

True, for some reason I'm thinking something aweful will happen if an Aspect dies - pretty much what we wondered pre-Malygos kill.
Still, though, there must always be a Lich King who just existed since the start of WC3 but there dosn't always have to be an Earth-Warder who's been around since Azeroth was created practically?
*shrug*
With the announcement of Rated Battlegrounds and the future war between the Horde and the Alliance makes me believe that war will be a major part of this game. However there's something that's been bothering me for a while...
Ever since Blizzard decided that associating factions with battlegrounds was a obsolete concept we've been getting more and more scenarios with no lore at all. You can most certainly discuss Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley and Warsong Gulch... but you can barely say anything about Strand, Isle, Wintergrasp or Eye.
Am I the only one that find the lack of lore associated with the most recent battles of the World of Warcraft weird if not disappointing?
And I fully agree. Why can't there be a associated Faction group with certain BGs? Personally I'd like to see that come back in some way in Cata. I miss the Defilers and whatnot.

Well let's see; Nef is the only child around Lorewise, but even dying, I can't see Deathwing passing his powers on. I doubt the Netherwing or Twilight Flights would count for the Earth Warder position, due to their chaotic natures.... but then again, do the powers really get passed on even when Aspect dies? I mean, I know the Queen of Life took the Heart of Magic at the end, but we don't know if that will be passed on to the next Flight Leader of the Blues(still say it's going to be Tyri heh).

It'll probably Kalec. Tyri makes more sense, but Kalec is more "badass."
*Sigh* Some lorewriters...

Actually Azeroth was already here a long time before the Aspects were created by the Titans.
Again true, which makes me wonder why I was wondering that in the first place.

Kalec is just a flight member though, Tyri is a princess of the Flight heh.... and no matter what, Kalec will be in a position of power, but more like Krasus heh as the prime Consort.

The fact that Med'an's racial heritage is what would allow him to wield different kinds of magic counts as another stupid controversy?
Because I don't think that anything aside from culture would prohibit a human shaman or an orc paladin of the Light.
Very true. I Metzen must have been sick the days
A) They came up with Varian's return story (magic clones and such)
B) Created Med'an (on that day it must have been a near-death experience)

First one: don't know much about that. Second; Makes sense. It's like the Overmind.

First one: Why do the Forsaken need to take a port when they already have one?
Second one: Why must there always be a Lich King? We've practically killed the entire Scourge anyway, and then even if they elect to make Bolvar teh Licking, why can't he just have them all stand in one place while we go all Ashbringer on them?

First one; you got me. All I can say is two ports are better then one.
Second one; Even then there would have needed to be a Lich King to get them to stand - and we know that Arthas wasn't about to do that.
As to us killing all of the Scourge - still plenty of Necromancers, and don't forget we never destroyed Kel's or that chick Lich's phylascriphy or whatever.
