While downing Saurfang I was wondering... the Shendralar can't join Darnassus as whole - what about Horde characters that were Exalted with them?
Perhaps they will remain as a proto neutral faction that leans towards the night elves of Darnassus.
Feats of Strength... as they are now. Probably those quests will vanish come cata... which would suck lol.

What's everyone think about my goblin character?
Not much to say right now. Need more posts. All I can say is I thought of the most dangerous game when I saw him.

I like him. But wait, have the Kezan Goblins landed yet?

Actually, I believe I read somewhere that the Shen'dralar isn't the faction joining up.

I'd say they are... to a point Hivolt.
With Patch 3.2.2 Blizzard introduced a new Alliance quest near the portals in the Silver Enclave. Something urgent has made the Highborne leave the walls of Eldre’Thalas to seek audience with High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind.
A cautious return
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: Sentinel, I would speak with your High Priestess.
Sentinel Stillbough says: You must wait for an audience.
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: Must I? I doubt Tyrande has more pressing business.
Sentinel Stillbough says: You show some nerve coming to Teldrassil, Highborne. Your kind are unwelcome here. We have not forgotten the War of the Ancients or the minds behind it.
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: The lure of power is great. Mistakes were made.
Sentinel Stillbough says: And we would not see those mistakes repeated. Return to your exile.
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: I will not return until I am heard. There is too much at stake. There is a change on the wind, and we cannot ignore it. I have traveled from the dust and ruin of the past to come to an accord. The time may soon come when the kal’dorei require the knowledge and skill we have to offer. I will wait, Sentinel... but I will have my audience.
Archmage Mordent Evenshade looks over at the moonwell with a sigh.
Sentinel Stillbough says: Take your gaze off the moonwell, exile. The power within is not yours to wield.
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: Calm yourself, Sentinel. I do not seek to use it. I am merely... remembering.
Sentinel Stillbough says: Recalling your treachery?
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: Enough. I have been apart from this for centuries. The well within this temple may be a pale spectre of the Well of Eternity, but it still holds the same... beauty. Purity.
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: I had forgotten.
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: I do not believe admiration and wistful thoughs are against the societal norm.
Sentinel Stillbough says: Watch yourself, Highborne.
Archmage Mordent Evenshade says: You were the one who challenged me for merely looking. I still await my audience with Tyrande.
Sentinel Stillbough says: In good time.
Gossip Panel
The following text appears in the gossip panel when you click on Archmage Mordent Evenshade <The Highborne>:
I suppose I should not surprised at this cold reception. We have long been in hiding, and the separation from our brethren was necessary.
That time, however, is done. Whether the residents of this young tree come to accept us or not, the Highborne are returning to light, and we will not turn our backs on what we are.
Future
Cataclysm This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.
According to the event described above and the fact that Night Elves will be able to become Mages in the third expansion, it seems the Shen'dralar will return to the elven society and mold young mages.

Iv'e been stuck with a question for some time now.
First I'll tell you what I know about the Forsaken;
They were Humans of Lordearon who died to the Plague. There, they lose their will and any memories. They serve the Scourge for some time until Sylvanas breaks them out. Then they regain their memories and will.
So the last thing they remember is dying to the Scourge, and all of the sudden they're Undead and part of the Forsaken.
To the point; what is their motivation for joining the Forsaken and doing what is asked of them? How are they suddenly so evil? Why are they so zealous to serve the Dark Lady?

Why are they so zealous to serve the Dark Lady?Because she took them in after their friends/family/old allies turned on them when they arrived home as corpses, trying to kill them. She is their savior, similar to how Velen is the savior of the Draenei; almost every Forsaken will wake through Hell for her... even if she doesn't really care that much about them.

That might explain some things, but still....
Assuming they have been driven away by their loved ones, they turned into bitter beings who despised what they had become and everything around them. What could Sylvanas offer them that made them so zealous? She practically said 'fight and die for me, I'll give you somewhere to sleep', no?
Why didn't some just say 'screw you, I'll fend for myself'? Why wouldn't they be able to gain as much power and followers as her?
And how did they suddenly lose the morals thye had in life? Stealing, killing, anything or anyone. How did they not get completly depressed and prayed for their suffering to end?

This is something Delterius discussed a while back, which can not be ignored.
The people of Lordaeron were very religious, probably the most religious humans in WoW. They practice the three virtues all of their lives. What compassion were they shown as the undead feasted on their corpses and raised? What respect was shown by their families when they returned, free of the Lich King's icy grip to be called monsters and forced from their former lives?
Many forsaken may have been High Elves or from Dalaran as well. Sylvanas offers them a new church, one embracing the free undead. She offers revenge against the Lich King, the being which caused them so much strife. Most importantly, she offers them her love and devotion - Although this may be questionable. She also offers them somewhere to call home.

How did they not get completly depressed and prayed for their suffering to end?Well, how would you feel if everyone you cared about tried to kill you? Yes, there are Forsaken who turned away from Sylvanas but for the most part the Forsaken believe as she does; revenge against those who killed them, those who turned against them. And no; Sylvanas had her own Banshee powers plus(at the time) a Dreadlord backing her to help against the Scourge and the Scarlet Crusade that wanted to wipe them out.
