Could someone add the quest "A Cautious Return" to the Wowhead database?
Just did this quest -- turned in Daros' Journal in Temple of the Moon, Darnassus, and was disappointed this quest just ended with a mere taste of what's to come in Cataclysm. I find it incredibly confusing that the Highborne are just injected into the mix with a two-liner about the existence of Highborne, as the quest doesn't say much else. And there is on the WOW forums general confusion about what's the difference between the Sindorei, Kaldorei, Highborne and Shen'Drelar. I am guessing those even with substantial understanding of World of Warcraft lore are going to be confused here.
But I do get the point of this is to introduce NE mages.

Kal'dorei = Night Elves. Refuse to use Arcane Magic. Live in Teldrassil.
Highborne = High Elves. Addicted to Arcane Magic, banished from Kaldorei. No current home.
Sin'dorei = Blood Elves. The Majority of the High Elf population who renamed themselves to honor their fallen brethren. Live in Quel'thalas.
Shen'drelar = A particular "faction" (more of a city) of Highborne who's home was wrecked by the Sundering. Their spirits linger in the ruins of their kingdom, now known as the Dire Maul.
Its not really that complex.

Not quite true.
It is actually:
Highborne = the old atristocratic caste of night elves, "banished" for continuing to use the dangerous arcane magics of the Well.
Quel'Dorei = High elves descended from the Highborne, who landed in Azeroth and founded Quel'Thalas, etc etc
Highborne are the aristocrats of night elves pre-Sundering. During the WotA, a group of Highborne defect, and the Highborne that are left in Azshara's capital are sucked into the remnants of the Well of Eternity, thus becoming Naga. The remaining Highborne that aren't turned into naga attempt to assimilate, and yes, are too addicted to the arcane magics of the Well, so they get banished/self exiled.
High elves get changed over the centuries of being exiled, slowly turning into the smaller, (almost) lovable elves we know, whilst the Highborne, assuming a handful did not go with Dath'Remar when he and his ships sailed off to the east, stayed in Kalimdor, a distance away from the night elves.
TL;DR: HIGHBORNE != HIGH ELF

High Elf = Descendants of the Highborne. The Highborne themselves no longer truly exist as an organization or culture. As such, the only true representation of the Highborne are the High Elves.
The difference between Highborne and High Elves is even smaller than the difference between High Elves and Blood Elves. The words are synonyms.
For example, Sylvannas Windrunner considers herself (or at least her living self) Highborne. We ALL know that she was a High Elf of Quel'thalas.

Glad the quest was added to the Quest database, I would have added it if I could. I may try that uploader next time... anyway the quest was not there in the database at the time I wrote this Forum post.

Also,
use this to upload your own data
.
I may try that uploader next time...
As a note: You need to be running the Wowhead looter at the time you do a quest. It won't help to use it after you have done the quest.

Well it'll help—just not with that one quest. :P
