(( Now for the awnser we've all been waiting for! ))
- "
No
!" Celen screamed in fury, and unleased a torrent of powerful spells that broke through the Scourge warrior's deffenses. The undead fell into a retreat, leaving Nilon's corpse behind.
- The High Elf ran to the Paladin's corpse, there was not even the slightest feel of a pulse and the body was already growing cold. She looked up at Thrrag. "You're a Shaman!" she said, "do something!"
- "I-I can't," Thrrag said, "the totems, the runes, they let me control the elemental spirits. But the- the spirit of the Wilds, it is too strong. It-."
- "Please," Celen begged. "Just try."
- Thrrag turned away. He knew he couldn't do what the Mage wanted him to, but he also knew that he couldn't just do nothing. He closed his eyes and concentrated.
-
Spirits
, he began.
-
Greetings
, Thrrag Earthbreaker, the voices of the Spirits said.
We've been waiting for you
.
- Suddenly Thrrag was filled with power. Fire, Earth, Wind, Water and Wilds coursed through him, but the demonic taint he had felt whenever he channled the powers of hte first four throught his totems did not accompany it.
-
H-how? Why
?
-
We knew that, sooner of later, you would come to us for aid
, the Spirits said.
To us, that means that you have put aside your hatred for us and the world to care enough to try and reach us for a greater porpose. That, young Shaman, is enough to prove to us that you are truely sorry. And this is your redemption
.
- The Spirits raged through Thrrag, burning, crushing, blowing and washing away all demonic taint within him. For the first time in a long time, Thrrag felt at peace.
-
Thank you
, Thrrag replied, then he remembered Celen's request.
Great spirits, I do not mean offense, but will you aid me
?
- The Spirits were silent for a while and Thrrag began to panic.
We know what you are going to ask us of, Shaman Earthbreaker. And we have decided that this is the Paladin's time
.
- Thrrag understood, but he still remembered Celen's pleading face. What might happen to her if the Paladin wasn't brought back? What might happen to her? What might she do? What might she
become
?
-
Please
, Thrrag said,
for the sake of the girl
.
- The Spirits sighed.
Very well, but you know the price, Shaman. A life returned to the world after its time must be payed for with another life. In time, we will come to collect this payment
.
- Thrrag understood, and when his time came he would go with a greatful heart.
- He extended a hand over the Paladin's body, he felt the Spirits' power flow through him. The Paladin's wounds closed and healed before the eyes of everyone. Then Thrrag felt the Paladin's spirit course through him, and back into his body.
- Nilon bolted upright, gasping for air. Celen practically squealed with joy and embraced him. Nilon was surprised, at first, then hugged her back.
- Then Celen came to her senses and pushed him away.
- Nilon stood, with some help from Thrrag. He looked over at the Scarlet camp, it was empty.
They must have seen the battle
, Nilon thought. "Come on, we need to try and find them before they get too far ahead."
- The group rushed down the road, running as fast as they could. But when they made it to the center of the bridge that spanned the Thondroril River fire erupted around them, blocking all escape.
-
Fel
fire.
- The Crusaders they had been following then stepped through the flame, unsinged, and their leader grinned madly.
- "Welcome, mortals," he said. "Welcome, to your doom."

Yeah, yay. Although I somewhat wish I had considered that idea. Would make for an interesting conflict.
But, then again, I have plenty of Death Knight already.

Writer's Commentary:
- Ah, Thrrag's redemption. Originally this and Page 32 were to be one and the same, but I decided to split them in favor of a more... drawn out feeling >:)
- Again Celen is overcome by her feelings, and again she realizes that it just can't be. Stupid High Elf/Blood Elf relations...
- Trapped by the Scarlet Crusade. Maybe Valinaria will be able to talk their way out of it? Who knows?

Page 34! Coming sometime in the coming week!
- The flames raged around Nilon and his companions as the Crusaders began to approach.
- "A pity that one of our own is with you," the lead Crusader said, "she'll have to die as well."
- "Why?" Nilon said, trying to talk a way out of this mess, "what did we do to you?"
