Character: Andur Tharlein
He's one of my more recent characters. I've been building him around my own personality more then anything, so I haven't really thought of a background that in depth since I've been more focused on that.
Class: Warrior
Job: Alliance Military for now
I'll give some further updates when I can think a more detailed background..

Might as well add my Open War character here.
Character:
Telnar Martin
Race:
Human
Class:
Mage
Telnar, prefering to go by Martin over the use of his first name, as he had been named after a long dead relative, was born in the country of Alterac, and had a good childhood, till his mage power's appeared. After that point, he was sent to the city of Mages, Dalaran, to be trained in the ancient arcane arts. He wasn't a prodigy or an idiot, but he mastered the spells shown to him, and was particular adept at spells of shielding and invisibility, prefering not to fight if he could help it.
He was 18 when the Second War began, and he and his mentor were sent to Captial City to show Dalaran support. Martin fought in many battles during the War, traveling from the elf lands of Quel'danas to the Blackrock Spire, to the Blasted Lands and the Portal. The mage was forced to watch as a Death Knight of the Old Horde killed his mentor, but had revenge when the grand paladin Turaylon slaughtered the rotting corpse.
Following the mop up of the Horde forces, and the second invasion which ended with the Alliance Expeditation traveling through the portal, Martin returned home to Dalaran, to learn about the betrayal of Alterac and that his father and mother had died during the reclaiming of the country. His sister and brother had survived though, and he was pleased. He helped to finance his brother when he wished to join the Silver Hand, while his sister settled into life within Southshore easily.
Time passed, the young Orc Thrall lead the uprising of the new Horde, and the skirmish's between Horde and Alliance started again... until the coming of the Scourge. Martin joined in battles during the orginal conflicts, but returned to Dalaran after Stratholme, the situation there leaving a bad taste in his mouth. For a long time, it seemed as if the Scourge forces had been dealt with, till the return of lost Prince Arthas. Martin heard second hand stories of the insanity that occured in Captial City, and felt saddened, but didn't find it hard to believe; he had seen true madness growing in the boy during his time with him.
Martin recieved horrible news a few weeks later, as his brother had been killed while traveling with Lord Uther to inter Terenas's ashes. He was with his sister, helping her and his neice and nephew deal with the death of their uncle, when word of the fall of Silvermoon and then Dalaran reached him. Martin had been recalled to Dalaran, but had set up his sister and her family with a safeguard to keep them safe while he was within the shielded city.
He had been sent to find Lady Proudmoore, as the Kirin Tor needed her, and had arrived on Kalimdor just prior to the Battle of Hyjal. There, he had met the Orc Warchief Thrall and Malfurion and Tyrande of the Night Elves, and had fought alongside the human forces as they tried to hold back Archimonde. Martin with a squad of Orc's and Night Elves, had held a pass for almost a full day against the demon forces, though he had merely did what he had always done: Try to keep everyone alive.
Following Dalaran's move North, Martin reappeared, older and wiser, and tired of the constant war and conflict. For most of the opening salvos's of Northrend, he remained in the floating city, working on his spells. When the Wrathgate occured, he learned something that chilled him to the bone: His niece and nephew, warriors both, had joined the Valinace Expedition and traveled north, fighting the forces of the Lich and had been at the Gates..... they hadn't survived. He returned to Southshore and told his sister that her children were dead due to a weapon created by the Forsaken. He had left her alone for a day to assist with the battle of the Undercity and when he returned, he found her hanging from the crossbeams in the barn.
Martin has since vanished, going on a one man campaign to destroy as many Blight locations as he can. He doesn't hate the Forsaken or the New Horde, but he will stop that thrice damned weapon from being used to destroy more familys.
And, here is another.

Name: Wolfas Blackbane
Race: Worgen
Class: Warrior
Wolfas Blackbane is now a Worgen living in Gilneas. His orginal name was William Black, but when he got infected, or cursed as he calls it, he changed his name to Wolfas. Being one of the first to be infected, along with King Greymane, he holds a position of power as the High Commander of the Worgen Armies. He has little patience, and sometimes loses himself to blood curdling rage during battle. Gifted as he is, he has the ability to rapid heal in the light of the moon, but if he is dead before night, he cannot be healed.
His attire consists of Black plate armour and two Longswords, which he can use as effectively as a rogue can use two daggers. When all else fails in battle, he uses his claws and resorts to more brutish tactics. One of his favourite quotes is "Human blood is a common treat". He only ever says this around the presence of other Worgen, as he does not want to ruin the bonds in the Alliance.
He has a family. Emily Black, or Emish Blackbane, is his wife, and Fangilace Blackbane, his son. Fangilace has been gifted with druidic powers and currently trains with Night Elves in Darnassus.

Rankkor
my turn.
Name: Shakduhn EarthFist.
Class: Shaman
Race: Orc.
Afiliation: aprentice of the grand shaman Hestui EarthFist (shak's uncle)
a brash and reckless orc in his earliest years, shakduhn (or shak to his closest friends) always dreamt of following the steps of his father, and be a grand warrior of the horde, inspired by the songs of the great heroes of the past such as broxigar the red, or gromash hellscream, his dream was to join them as a worthy warrior of the horde.
however fate held a diferent purpuse for the young orc, at the early age of 7, a massive earthquake hit his village, his parents died wheh the house crashed upon them, shak and his sister were playing among the cliffs northwest of razor hill when the quake started.
his sister and himself would had been buried alive by the rocks but in pure instict shak raised his hands and managed to stop the rocks in mid air, giving his sister time to move out of the way, and redirecting the rocks to the other side.
since that day, shak's uncle saw the potential in him, the spirits heed his call, and gave him their blessing, saving his life. he trained the young orc in the arts of shamanism.
at first shak's own impatience and recklessness served as his major obstacle in comuning with the spirits, this was not the path he had chosen, but he did acknoledged that the spirits saved his life, and that of his sister, and so he obeyed his uncle and trained to comune with the earth.
after finally heeding the call of the earth and expressing his gratitude, his life on the path of the shaman began, from the earth he recieved yet another gift, a shard of rock, light as a feather, hard as mithril, and yet on the hands of shakduhn alone the rock seemed softer, maleable.
from this shard he crafted his first totem of the earth, a permanent and visible symbol of his conection with the land, and also from it he carved the head of his weapons.
the twin hammers Garn and Gleiph carved from the first shard of earth given to him by the earth spirit, both his most priced posetions and his most deadly weapons, each shaped like a wolf's head, each a hammer that on his hands were forces to be reckoned with.
his uncle adviced shak to control his eagernes to battle, often guiding him on the path of the elemental shamans, those who send the call, and recieve the answer of the elements themselves.
but shakduhn's heart was still that of a warrior, combining his deep conection with the elements as well as the martial prowess of a warrior he was a shaman that followed the path of enhancement, the power of the elements fueled his already formidable strenght thus giving him both his chance to fullfill his dreams of becoming a warrior worthy of his father's name, and the conection to shamanism worthy of his uncle's name.
to this day, shakduhn is age 27, and while his aprenticeship with his uncle on the path of shamanism is almost at it's end, his adventures in azeroth for the glory of the horde have only began

Nah, doesn't matter. I bring it up for two reasons:
One, Black is my actual last name, which is rather odd... but oh well.
Two, He's my main character for Blood and Steel, just found it funny that we both happened to choose that exact name.

Great stuff guys. now to elaborate a little on Deatrick.
In life he was a childhood friend to Jaina Proudmoore going back to the age of around 5 years old. Unlike the few human warlocks at the time he was viewed as a hero to his people and a "Light" within the dark arts. Throughout his life he had envied the grand High Elves who were, to him, a grand symbole of what magic could be to the Alliance and spent many years learning about their culture, magic and history. Unlike other humans whom the High elves had tried to seperate themselves from Deatrick was openly accepted despite his :ahem: career choice and after some time had become a close friend to the royal family.
This trust ,ironicaly enough would lead to his eventual downfall. A short time before the forces of the Lich King made their move Deatrick was let in on a secret that the High Elves had kept for ages. Two blades made from the fangs and horn pieces of Deathing himself. These weapons had the capabilities to unleash pure unholy death upon all who saw them the weapons in and of themselves were incredibly corrupted and would likely destroy whomever tried grasping their hilts. These two weapons however, had a special charm on them. Only an elf of Windrunner blood would be able to use these almighty weapons without fear of death this was made to act as a safeguard against magic users and warriors alike.
(ill finish my little summary later my comp is acting up)

Heh, hey Reuho, don't take this the wrong way but..... your Deatrick is kinda of a Sue. Childhood friend, the insuluar High Elves accepting him wholesale, becoming friend of a royal family, then the whole special weapons of Deathwing and Windrunner bloodline heh.

reuho
Honestly this is something me and a couple buddies came up with as we were screwing around in SM Cath and i just extended the story a bit.
And by extend i mean lengthen not lie...>.>
And if he is a Sue then i apologize
Yes just try and flame on on a free RP storytelling thing XD
P.S. You guys all got great stories it's really entertaining

Adamsm
Just letting you know man, everyone on here has hit the Sue wall at some point. Even Martin is something of Sue, being there for some of the major battles of the Warcraft universe, even if for most of them, he spent at the back, merely trying to keep everyone else alive as a defensive thing.
