Hey all!
I want to start focusing on pvp and I am thinking of pvping as a lock, warrior or a mage.
What class of these will do best in bg mainly but further on in arena? I have pvped some in tbc but not very much in wotlk so I guess my skills aint zero but not very good either.
This is how I see it:
Mage
, mainly frost.. very nice survivability and decent dmg.
Warrior
, mainly arms.. very nice dmg even when ppl hit at you, decent survivability.
Warlock
, mainly destro or maybe affliction.. insane dmg/burst as destro IF you can freecast, not good other wise, ok survivability. less burst as affliction but more survivability.
I have been watching alot of pvp-movies lately and everyone there are very skilled so I have hard time deciding. What class would I be most successfull with? All of these classes are fun to play but maybe a little more fun with war/lock.
Tnx for help! :D

Classes keep changing. Warriors sucked in S5, were OK on S6 and very good in S7. Mages are part of the most popular 3v3 combo of all time, the Rogue Mage Priest, but are rather weak out of there. Warlocks were weak in S5, but now, they explode you in a couple of GCDs. Rolling what works NOW doesn't assure it will work THEN.
So, pick your choice out of taste. All can have at least a shot in the highest ratings, tough some are more limited in the number of competitive combos.
For the ability to shift from very good offense to very good defense with ease, Warrior.
For maximum control of the fight, Mage.
For extreme burst or slow burning on your enemy, Warlock.

At the moment im playing lock. The survivability might not be quite so great but you can do some pretty amazing things while not focused, and fear is very powerful.
Seed of corruption is fantastic in av or wherever opponents are grouped up. As is shadowfury -> howl of terror on allies in boss rooms.
It depends what u like all are good at certain things I guess.
