2H Frost for dps or tanking is fine, just you will do less damage than Blood or Unholy dps/tanks.
The big dps change was nerfing Frost Strike and the Sigil that affected Frost Strike (this is with regard to 2H).

haha, 2h Frost dps is dead and gone, anyone still doing it is either ignorant or stubborn. The dps loss by going to 2h dps is not just marginal but huge. We are talking an easy 2k dps lost by switching to 2h frost. If you want to go 2h Blood is still a great dps tool so is 2h deep unholy.
2H Frost tanking is not dead. It's not the greatest spec of all time anymore, but it is good. DW tanking is just viable now.

You know what you call 2h Enhance shamans in PVP? Lunch!
If they don't get lucky and get a WF crit followed by a frost shock crit, they are dead. Frostbrand works better on a 2h weapons so the new talent they have will keep 2h enhance shamans alive for a bit. Generally if you see one though it's a noob and they are easy kills.
Besides 2h frost pvp is still alive because it's like tanking. It's 2h frost PVE that's dead pretty close to completely now.
