The most interesting thing about this thread is the revelation of CronullaSharks = BearMariner = raivne.

However Elves do age differently than humans, so maybe blizzard will come up with lore explaining this problem (maybe they would be from the future! O.o)Yes they do... more 'slowly' as adult age for a High Elf is 110 years.

that's just a stupid rumor.Nowhere in lore is it said that trolls originate from elves.Sonmebody thought that up.AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TOPIC ABOUT HIGH ELEVS? lets stick to that shall we? :)
Yes somebody did... Blizzard:
From the Troll page:
With the insectoids driven into exile, the twin troll empires returned to business as usual. Despite their great victory, neither civilization expanded much further than their original boundaries. However, ancient texts speak of a small faction of trolls that broke off from the Amani Empire and founded their own colony in the heart of the dark continent.
There, these brave pioneers discovered the cosmic Well of Eternity which transformed them into beings of immense power.
Some legends suggest that these adventurous trolls were the first Night Elves, though this hypothesis has never been proven.
While it hasn't been confirmed at this moment... it makes a lot more sense then the Night Elves coming out of nowhere, but it is still part of Lore, given from Blizzard itself.
And dude, you necroed an old thread, don't be surprised if people don't agree with you... at all.

Except in Warcraft, the Drow Wood Elves already semi-exist.... except reversed: Night elves look like the Dark Race but are the 'good' guys, while the Blood Elves look like the Wood Elves but are the 'evil' race.

PS - Could all the Blood Elf fan boys stop posting, its kinda a lore thing.
You're the only fanboy I see here.
Just face it, there are a multitude of problems to overcome (already posted so I won't repeat them) just to have an almost exactly similar race join the opposite faction.
Just admit that you're an alliance player who wants to use the Blood Elf model and be done with it already, I'm not meaning to be rude, but you're ignoring obvious reasons here.

Statistically beaten how?
The Tauren have a city of their own. The high elves have many small scattered groups with no leadership and little contact with other races (for the most part. Obviously some have tentatively approached the Alliance and have a working relationship).
Saying 'there's more high elves so we should be able to play as them' is foolish, when you consider that only a handful of those elves have anything to do with anything going on in the world.
Theres more High Elves in Azeroth than Horde in Orgrimmar, that shows from a lore perspective that they are more than populated to form their own city.
Secondly
why from an unbiased opinion would you not want the High Elves as a playable race if they had differences to Blood Elves in appearance, racials, voices, mounts, architecture ?
I'd like to form my disagreement based on playstyle. What would the High Elves have that makes them unique from Blood Elves? I am unable to see the unique factor that makes them an exciting, new contribution to the game.
Take for example, the Worgen and the Goblins. Worgen are notorious for brute strength and cunning speed, hence their racials. Goblins have a past of intellectual advancements in prestigious technology that could be considered anachronistic in the realm of World of Warcraft. Blood Elves, when they were added, had unique stats, unique racials and unique race choices(first paladin for the horde, first non-warrior of the game). What would High Elves do for their faction?
Don't forget the obvious prioritizers that build their case of entry and recognition based on their unique fighting capabilities and classes. The Naga! The Ogres! The Pandaren!
