Noticed yes.
Fury in 3.0=36expertise
Arms now in 3.2=17expertise(with 1 20expertisegem)

Waah, there's no expertise on the new items except for all the ones that have less strength/ArP/crit/hit/ticklemeelmo than the other ones.

How many pieces these days have expertise compared to Nax?
In 3.0 we had gloves, belt, 2 weapons, a ring, a head, a neck, bracers.
Might have misted some.
in Ulduar25 I see a lot les of that kind of items. Making imo tier gloves and legs mandatory(don't tell me you have 26expertise without using at least one of those)

Pff, even in tank gear expertise isn't too hard to find.
Anyway, I did some digging in the wowhead database. For epic items of ilevel 245+ with strength on them and without defense, there were 116 plate items to be found. Of those, 22 had expertise, or 19%.
For epic items of ilevel 200-213 with strength and without defense, there were 111 plate items to be found. Of those, 10 had expertise, or 9%.
For ilevel 219-226, the numbers were 63 and 13, and thus 21%.
Expertise on plate DPS gear is no less abundant than it used to be. Feel free to do similar comparisons on trinkets, rings, necklaces, cloaks and weapons.

There is a ton of expertise available in the ToC raids.

Those 5 items get you 331 exp, which is way over the Fury expertise cap of 214. So you can pick and choose what to use.

But WOW what a difference it made ....in a heroic Gundrack the tank pulled 2 groups of snakes at start and i smashed well over 8k dps ......i was shocked ! AND VERY PLEASED!
you do realize you don't need 26 expertise for level 81 snakes, right?
i found it pretty easy to mix-and-match my new gear with some 213/226 gear to keep expertise capped and still stay around 50% armorpen, without gemming for either.

Snakes... Why'd it have to be snakes?

Seems like a lot of flaming for a legitimate observation.
It isn't legitimate, which our examples show.

It already started at blue gear level. Blue gear has perfect stats and few gem slots, perfect for a casual player. Once you get deeper into the game you're supposed to have some spare parts and refit a couple of gems.
