As for biology...
We know that Draenei and orcs can produce viable offspring (actually meaning that they could scientifically be deemed the same species under some definitions). We know that humans can breed with orcs, and that they can breed with half-draenei-half-orcs.
And there's also the fact that Outland can sustain its own atmosphere and has Earthlike gravity. I can also fall off of it.
Science doesn't apply here.
With Med'an, literally,

Alright, how about the fact that humans and elves can produce viable offspring despite having entirely different origins?
Humans are descended from Vrykul, who were originally made of iron, and created by the Titans, while the High Elves are descended from Night Elves who are quite possibly descended from trolls. Or that orcs can produce viable offspring with two distinctly different races from entirely different planets?
I stand by my "A Wizard Did It" statement. It's Warcraft. Science doesn't apply here. That's why my Skeletal Gryphon can fly with only bones for wings, or Dragons can produce enough lift to fly, or you can make a steam-powered helicopter. Science only applies in the loosest of senses.

I read all your posts and I never sqaw you adequately explain the orcs. Scientifically, they should not be able to breed with three entirely different races from two entirely different planets. But they can.
Elves should not be able to breed with humans, humans being descended from Titan constructs and elves having evolved later. But they can.
Dragons should not be able to fly, being too massive for their wings to give them adequate lift, but they can.
Outland should not have earthlike gravity and it's own atmosphere, but it does.
We shouldn't be able to make steam powered helicopters and motorcycles, but we can.
Trolls and Tauren shouldn't be able to have evolved over a period of a few thousand years, but they did.
It's a game. And not just any game. It's a fantasy game. It needn't adhere to our worlds laws of science.

In RL theres already beastiality, whose to say one day mankind will not succeed?Genetics. That's what. For the most part we are absolutely incompatible and no amount of time is going to change that short of random chance (the animals somehow evolving with a different number of chromosomes than they have now).
If you reread my post I just explained humans. Elves used magic to be created, evolve, and revive. It's not f'arfetched to see birth and mixed racing with humans magical in itself. It even works M elf>F hum as to F elf > M hum.But you're just theorizing. That's never been the given explanation for how they reproduce. It's so much simpler to believe that Blizzard does not focus on having everything be absolutely scientifically sound. Why else do three different planets all have humanoid races? As far as we know, the Titans never visited Draenor or Argus (other than Sargeras).
Night elf explanation is best. They been here so long the obly race I'm 100% certain they can never mate with is Undead purely because Life + undeath don't mix. NE are immortal by nature and magic, undead are immortal (currently) by fel magic and Arthus's magic. Two diffrent compounds don't mix (see the periodic table). That's not the point! Evolution doesn't suddenly make cross-species hybrids viable. It never has, ever, in the entire history of our own world, which is far older thqan Azeroth. The only instances where viable offspring can come from two different species naturally is when the species in question are still extremely close, relatively, and have not undergone any real genetic drift. Look at horses and donkeys. We know that they come from the same common ancestor, but they still can't produce viable offspring.
No amount of natural evolution is going to suddenly make two races of different stock viable for breeding. At least, it's astronomically unlikely (more so than normal evolutionary features, as it offers no benefit to the health of the species).
The point is, Blizzard is not writing this with biology textbook in hand, making sure to get all their facts right. Just look at Outland. Again.
They are fantasy writers. That's just how fantasy works. Just about anything is possible in a fantasy universe and science is more flexible than the Amazing Yen.
Do I think gnomes are compatible with Tauren? No. But they are definitely compatible with most other sentient races.
We have half-orc-half-draenei, half-orc-half-humans, half-orc-half-trolls, half-elf-half-humans, quarter-draenei-quarter-orc-half-humans, half-orc-half-ogres, half-human-half-ogres... the list goes on.
It shouldn't be scientifically possible, but it is. Because it's a fantasy universe. Science is not a priority here.
