The Master's Glaive

So something triggered my thought process on this, but with the great shift in the lands that's going to be triggered in the Cataclysm, there is a chance that the Master's Glaive in Darkshore might be given some attention. I mean, it's hard for a giant skull (And who knows what else) of a supposed Old God or Forgotten One, lying impaled in the middle of the land, to not be disturbed in such an event. I'm really hoping Blizzard doesn't overlook this now that It's popped into my head, because if the sword happens to slip out and the theories are correct that it was the only reason this creature wasn't regenerating and coming back to life, then we could have some fun on our hands.
Anyone else have some feelings on this?

That'd be interesting, but I doubt it. That sword not only looks like it's in pretty deep, but the Old God is as good as dead.

The sword won't need to slip out.
About a month prior to the reshaping of Azeroth, Alliance players will notice that Hogger has gone missing from Elwynn Forest. The Gnollish deathgod will be seen making his way up the roads and through Stormwind, where he will slaughter anyone in his path* on his way to the harbor. He will commandeer the boat to Auberdine, keeping only one Night Elf
wench
crew member alive to
slake his lusts
serve him on the journey.
Upon arriving in Ashenvale, he will make his way south, making himself a delightful furbolg coat as he goes, and eventually find his way the Master's Glaive. Hogger will use his true power to grow to a mighty size, withdraw the sword from the Old God's skull, devour its soul when the god ressurects, and then, to test its edge, will cleave the land in twain, resulting in the Cataclysm.
*Note that he will intentionally alter his path to take out naked mailbox dancers and gold spammers, and will devour any corpses that are spelling out website URLs.

Who knows the old god might be reanimated and the sword becomes a legendary weapon! Maybe...

Blizzard would
not
give away an opportunity to make another raid concerning an Old God just to have some pretty scenery in a practically Alliance-only part of the world. It's
not
dead, just nullified.
Yes, I'm pretty sure that, since Darkshore got a huge hit from the Catacslym (Watch the Cataclysm video, you see Auberdine get wrecked), the Old God will be a Raid. Maybe it will even include everybody's favorite
Aku'mai
will come back as it's pet.

In the Cataclysm preview, don't we see a massive hurricane tearing through Darkshore? That could well remove the sword. Or could even be some sort of manifestation of the old god itself. :) Can't wait for this expansion....

So, let me get this straight: He will leave Stormwind Harbor for Auberdine, but arrive in Ashenvale, and from Ashenvale, he will head south and wind up at The Master's Glaive?
Hogger must be quite powerful indeed to pull off such a feat.
My bad :P Ashenvale = Darkshore. I avoid Kalimdor for the most part because Darkshore is so bleak; I either level in Elwynn/Dun Morogh or (more commonly) around the Exodar.
But we
are
talking about Hogger. He could do that, if he so desired...
