Lets say Garrosh stays as Warchief.
Would it make sense that Saurfang and the Kor'Kron left but stayed allied to the Horde and started their own minor faction?
I mean if you think about it. Garrosh is not on Saurfangs good side.
And the Kor'Kron are fiercly devoted to Thrall and his ways. And I highly doubt that they would take Garrosh as Warchief with open arms.
It depends on the situation. If Garrosh usurps Thrall, they would fight tooth and nail to stop it. However, if Thrall appoints Garrosh, they would be honor-bound to serve him.

He's not becoming the new guardian, he's more then likely heading off to help Malfurion deal with the Elemental assault on Hyjal. The whole guardian crap came off of somethingawful.com.

Thrall is leaving to become the new Guardian of Tirisfal apparently and for some strange reason he appoints Garrosh Warchief
He rejected being Guardian last I heard. But he's apparently off fighting Ragnoras at the World Tree alongside Malfurion. He can't lead the Horde surrounded by a fiery army in the Middle of Hyjal, can he? He's been trying to, for want of a better word, 'groom' (Yes, I know "LOLOL SEKSUAL GROOMINGZ!") into becoming a good Warchief, which I doubt.

Well he said "No" to joining the council, and told them to take Rehgar Earthfury in his place, but I still don't see him ever and I mean ever, becoming the Guardian, because Thrall is missing that most important of Guardian skills.. The whole, Channeling the power of the Council.

Don't forget, Agmar is current leader of the Kor'kron, and he's a Garrosh loyalist.

Pretty sure Varok Saurfang has superiority over Agmar when it comes to leading the Kor'kron. Then why did he have to send us a letter
in secret?

This doesn't necessarily mean that Agmar is the leader, only that he's concerned about those who may undermine his position. I would think that Saurfang would hold more sway over the elite soldiers of the Horde, rather than just another general.

Saurfang is stationed in Warsong Hold as advisor to Garrosh Hellscream. He commands the Kor'kron in Northrend and remains wary of the resurfacing blood lust of the orcs, due to its employment in Hellscream's savage but successful tactics.

Agmar, Not Leader?
He's overlord of that horde devision in that area of dragonblight, that doesn't make him leader of the Kor'kron. Theres a reason Saurfang is called 'High Overlord Saurfang', well any other orc seems to take the title overlord the same as a human would general.

I always figured that Saurfang was the Military leader of ALL orcs. Holding a position right under Thrall.
Yeah I thought this too. At the opening of AQ, he was leader of the horde forces in Silithus. And when it comes to it, there no orc who would feel more driven but to follow a commander like Saurfang.. except for Garrosh.

I thought he was the leader of all the non-cenarion forces and not just the Horde.

He said "no" prior 2 ice crown citadel and perhaps before most of the wotlk events. The cataclysm would certainly change his view on many things.
