I'm starting to work on my loremaster acheivments, and I figured howling fjord would be easy since I only had one quest left. So I flew all around the zone looking for that one quest and couldn't find it, and was wondering if the is an easier way.

Nope. Add-ons aren't able to request the information from the server. Your only option is to run around with 'track low level quests' on.
But you should also check the comments on the page for the achievement. Most of the time people post commonly missed ones.

Use wowhead filters to look for quests that starts with an item.

What i usually do is put on low level quest tracking and fly over places where i remember quest hubs used to be.
Also check out the achievement pages for the specific zone you are trying to get. People usually point out hard to find quests at the comment section.

Ask a GM; they will give you listings.
No they won't.
If you got one to help you in that way you are Very very lucky.
Generally all they will tell you is where you are on a chain quest you've dropped.

Done it numerous times. Multiple GM's gave me quest names of quests that I hadn't done in each zone, so yes, they will.
A few GM's have checked if I have done a particular quest or what quest I needed to do get a chain to open. However, when I asked which quests I missed in Dragonblight for the achievement, I was told that I can find that information out myself through the course of normal gameplay, or by asking someone else, or by using a forum.
