You are lvl 32....

dual wielding will always be more beneficial provided that you have equal quality weapons....
for example if you have 2 green 1 handers but 1 epic two handed, which one would you pick?

dont listen to this troll.
two handers have betters stats in end game but since youre still leveing just take anything that has agi, stam, int, or ap on it and you will be fine.
remember Strength isnt a hunter stat

This is a question often asked at low levels. The simple answer is--dont look at the dps, just check any stats on the weapons themselves.
Does the 2 1 hander or the 1 2hander give you more agility, intellect, stamina? go with that setup.
The reason is: you are a hunter. You should NOT be hitting things, pretty much ever. Your pet should hit things, and you should shoot from range. I am telling you this now, because if this is NOT how you want to play you need to roll another class or be miserable at 80 (assuming you get there).
If you want to hit things make a warrior or a rogue or a shaman or a pally

Hi!
And the other question is if you ignore all the "+ stats" (ex. +10 agility), can I only look for DPS when I choose weapons?
Wrong, on melee weapons you only look at the stats. While I was leveling, the only thing I used melee for was Aspect of the Viper, only because it hit twice as fast and built mana like crazy.
Beyond that, forget the DPS on a dagger even exists.

Thanks for all the answers! You can see my hunter below.
Nice work! You have made some pretty solid gear choices! Your spec isnt ideal, you should have put the points that you put into improved hawk into endurance training instead--probably--but honestly, I took hawk over endurance when I leveled as well, and I got to 70, then 80 fine.
You definitely want to pick up some glyphs. For leveling get "glyph of mending" especially if you are going to use a Ferocity pet, like your wolf.
When gearing you generally want to go for agility, intellect, stamina, attack power and crit. Which you generally have done. If you have a choice, get less gear "of the wolf" and more "of the monkey" or "of the falcon" or "of the eagal" --but often while leveling you dont have a choice, and you seem to have made some good decisions!
While leveling make sure your bow/gun/xbow is pretty close to you in level (it is 30 and you are 33 so you are good), I wouldn't let it get more than 5 levels below you (unless you get an epic or really nice rare--then maybe 7-10). All other gear you want to keep within 10 levels at the most, so look to replace your belt, gloves, & cape, and maybe your neck--though there arent a lot of good necks out there.
You might want to change your proffession, as, if this is your first character you are going to have an INSANE time trying to level these 2. Generally you want to pick a "gathering" proffession, and a corrisponding "crafting" proffession. So pair BS with mining, so mining gives you the ore to make the BS gear. OR skinning with leatherworking, etc.
It will be very hard to level both BS and Enchant

My $0.02.
I used to dual wield as well, for a long time, until my brother-in-law (who had an epic hunter pre-WotLK) explained it to me simply... you're a hunter, you don't worry about melee DPS (which I think someone else stated above me). What you want is a stat-stick, which means two-hander, since they have the best stats on them. Stats you worry about are +agility/stamina/int/crit/hit/attack power. And not in that order.
An example of some decent stat-sticks for your level are:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6679
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=756
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=10573
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=3853
This is of course, not a complete list, but you can search in wowhead by using filters, etc, and find a good weapon/stat stick.

Just as an example to make it clear:
Two-hander A: 0 DPS (yes 0), 100 agility, 100 stam, 60 crit, 60 ArPen, 150 AP
Two-hander B: 200 DPS, 99 agility, 99 stam, 59 crit, 59 ArPen, 149 AP
Weapon B is superior for raiding. If you are hitting anything at all with your melee weapon while raiding you are doing something wrong.
