Which is my second attempt to write a
lok'vadnod
, an Orcish song of honor. This time written about the famous
Grommash "Grom" Hellscream
. (think of it being "sung" to the slow rhythm of a beating drum)
Honor to Grom Hellscream, savior of the Horde,
He drank from the blood of demons,
But saved us with his strength,
Honor to Grom Hellscream, savior of the Horde,
His heart and strength together,
Released us from our curse,
Honor to Grom Hellscream, savior of the Horde,
May you rest in peace forever, Big Brother,
By Blood and Thunder!
There you go.

Nice, thanks for the feedback on my story but only 20 views im beginning to think somthings wrong :( but i cant imagine these to the rhythmn of a slow beating drum i'd need to have it sung to me
Light and Death didn't get popular overnight either.
Okay, so it did, but only because I was the first to post a continuing story on Wowhead.
As for the rhythm, this a poetry slam, but instead of bongos think a tribal drum. That's just my interpritation, though.

Well... I liked Taretha's Lok'vadnod better. And I never knew Light & Death got popular overnight.
Well in did put a little more thought into Taretha's, and, in all honesty, I probably exaguragted a bit when I said that about Light and Death.
Now, translate them to Orcish.
Your crazy.
Actually I would, but there just arn't enough confirmed Orcish words to do so.

Duh, get an orcish player to say it in orcish while your on your undead morec.

But I'll still be able to understand it, remember? Undead speak orcish.
EDIT: Plus my accounts down for the time being, been taking a break for a while.

Yeah.... I don't play Horde so no clue lol, I know Human speech is normal, but the other Alliance races all had their own, thought... nevermind heh.

Errrmmmm... Okay, may I give my opinion? Even though they are praises of heroes of the Horde... I doubt they really would say "Honor to <name here>" in every verse. I dunno, just bugs me.

Well I had no examples to go by, so that's just my thought on what they would look like. Thought that it might be one of the elements you'd find in a lok'vadnod.
