Weapons - SLOW/SLOW. Assuming the EP values for weapon dps and speed below are correct,
Weapon DPS 691
Weapon Speed 36029
we get
36029 * .1 = 3602.9
3602.9 / 691 = ~5.21
So, a .1 speed difference is equal to ~5.21 weapon dps.
So, is better than because although it is .1 weapon speed faster, it is 179 dps - 163.3 = 15.7 dps better which is >5.21 dps.
Here's something interesting that was brought up earlier in the thread. Let's compare and . The blue item is 1.3 weapon speed slower which means that it would have to be more than 67.73 dps worse for to win out. Since 178.7 - 111.8 = 66.9, the blue item wins out if we throw out all of the other stats on the two weapons.

fictional sample, I'm too lazy to find actual weapons to compare
if weapon A have top end damage of 520 and weapon B have 530, but weapon A also have 30 more Str, you should use weapon A instead because after you include the DPS increase from A it'll leads to better DPS.
basicly, while the weapon's top-end damage will contribute a lot to your damage, you should not forget to take into account the weapon's stat because those too will make a difference
Yes ofcourse .
But what i mean is that why would u assign EP values to wep dmg and speed, because top end wep dmg should be the dmg that ur strikes scale off of, regardless of the speed.

The only reason why a slow weapon hits for more is because its top end dmg is higher.
