Improved Magma Totem
Gives Magma Totem a (Insert percentage here) chance to apply Flame Shock to the target.
What do you guys think?

Improved Lava Burst:
Your Lava Burst ability is now affected by the Lightning Overload talent, and your Flame Shock has a chance to jump to nearby targets when it triggers a critical effect from Lava Burst.
*dreams*
Anyway, while that Magma Totem is quite imbalanced, it could perhaps work with Fire Nova's longer cooldown. Finally a reason to use the skill, right? Should perhaps be a slightly toned down version of Flame Shock then.

Jumping Flames (0/2), Ele.
Gives your Flame Shock a 50/100% chance to hit all enemies within 10 yards of the target.
Static Shock (Enh): now gives LS the ability to crit.
And a minor glyph for an extra SS charge. Well, i'd like to see 'em

What's there to buff in Shaman AoE? Run in, place Magma Totem, Chain Lightning, Thunderstorm...
Except, when running in takes 1/3 of the time to kill the group, it's rather obvious :P

I meant this for enhancment. Enhance doesn't have much AoE.

Laying down aoe as enh is much easier than as ele.

You should already be in melee range.

If you're planning on doing some aoe with magma totem, you would be in the same range at the start of the pull regardless of your spec. Enhancement doesn't have a pounce-like ability (yet).

I'm not referring to the beginning of the fight, I'm talking keeping sustained aoe down. It's not worth it for an ele shaman to run back and forth refreshing his totem.

What I'm saying is that there is really not much of a disadvantage of staying in melee range for an elemental shaman. Unless they have some sort of cleave, in which case it is a bad idea to go into melee range just to drop the totem.
