actually i just considered this but since haste and sp were pretty close to begin with, haste may be better than sp in 3.2.2 However this is a long shot and will require plenty of math.
not being a math junky, take this with a grain of salt... i wouldn't imagine haste overtaking spellpower until you hit a quite high number in the SP department. cause if you have 1700 spell power but are sitting at like 24% haste (before netherwind presence) then, yeah you're slinging your spells a lot faster, but your also going oom faster because of it, and your spells don't have quite the power behind them that someone with 2400 SP and 15% haste does.
i just arbitrarily picked two percentagse, and again i'm not a math junky so i didn't quite work that out in my head.. 9% haste may indeed make up for the 700 SP difference, but i highly doubt it somehow.

MBAM is fairly common in most of these mage forums to let people know that they are talking about a Missile Barrage Arcane Missile compared to a regular Arcane Missile. Technically MBAM is a proc and spell that should always be used in conjuction. If you just have MB than you aren't making use of it so always make your MBs into an MBAM. :D
Redundancy.
Hey, I use MBAM!
AM = Arcane Missile
MBarr = Missile Barrage
MBAM = AM under MBarr proc.
