Pummel macro

Sorry if someone has answered this, but I couldn't find it.
I'm big believer in using
Pummel
at every available opportunity. As it stands now I will have my caster mob as my focus and keep his portrait next to my interrupt button. When I see him casting I can click him and wallop to interrupt. This is ok, but feels bulky and slow.
What I want to do is set my focus so I can see when he's casting, then be able to pummel without switching targets. If that's not possible, is there any way to:
target > pummel > re-select previous target
in the same macro?
Example to clarify: in ToC we get the dwarf, gnome and draenai. We want to take out the dwarf first and keep the draenai from healing. So I want my target to be the dwarf for nukage, and be able to swap quickly to the draenai for interrupts. I guess that would need some sort of 'don't target dead dwarf' command as well for continued interrupts after the dwarf is down.
Also, can I use the /assist command with a players name? So, if I want to make sure I'm always hitting the tanks target I can put in something like
/assist MrTankyPants
/cast bloodthirst
Thanks in advance :)

Cheers. Hope you didn't get any of my noobishness on you touching that one :)
I'll check it out when the realms come back up /eyeroll
What's the () for after /cast pummel btw?

Actually it would be:
/cast Pummel
You don't need to manually target your focus, as you can cast spells directly on any valid unit using the
target=unitID
option.
OK, that was one I
did
try before posting here. Wouldn't work :/
First set focus using /focus.
You may want to use a modifier to hit the focus so you can use pummel in you target when not using the modifier
/cast target=focus Pummel;Pummel
That's an attractive option.
And for that one do I replace with (if I want shift as my modifier)? So...
/cast target=focus Pummel;Pummel
Or just leave it as ?
Macros confuse me :)
