So there I was, in a group for my daily HToC run, when we invite a Paladin for our DPS slot. That got me thinking about the Black Knight and his Shadowfrost damage during phase 3.
I instructed the DPS to put up Frost Aura and I put up Shadow Aura. The end result? Nearly 0 damage. Way better than just Shadow Aura or Frost Aura alone.
I highly recommend you try this. It's great.

Or Pally + Shaman, or Pally + Priest, or Shaman + Priest
Plus every single one of those combinations allows you to CC the ghoul in stage 1.

But a shaman brings heroism and earth elemental which is in my experience as a prot/ret pally, better than holy wrath for keeping the ghouls under control.
Just because having two paladins might help in some areas doesn't make them the best combination because you're missing out on what the other classes have to bring.
Having only ever 4-manned heroic, I can honestly say it was having the shaman that made it possible.

I normaly pop Divine Sacrifice on 3rd fase. More heals on me (prot pally) less heal on the party.
Retri Pally can por Divine Shield + Divine Sacrifice for 0 dmg on 3rd fase.

I usually bring guildies who aren't stupid idiotic terrible retarded players. It is insanely easy if you have dps that knows how to actually dps. If you can get past phase 2 in 15 seconds and then kill him in phase 3 in 10 seconds like we can, you don't have to treat a 5 man heroic like its a damn 25 man boss fight where you have to use a strategy. But, if your a terrible player then you can sit there and think of strategies to help reduce damage because the dps is too terrible to kill him fast.
Never have any deaths.
