Its all about knowing how to play your charecter ppl tell me all the time they love whatching me tank as my warrior jumps from one side of the room to the other moving the pulled mobs and adds in any direction i want like watching a champion sheep dog run his flock where a pally cast i lil aoe and all the mobs come to him and he sits there holding aoe in the same spot simple easy yes boring even more so its a game it takes skill and practice like playing madden learn to see the whole feild and learn to move about it effortlessly and know what ur doing and a great warrior tank is one of the most awsome things you can ever see in wow watching him move about and hearding up the mobs and snatching adds its like an art form and not everbody can do it thats why most ppl in the game r DPS class cause they can handle the skill requiered to force the mobs to do what they want them to do and u get wipes and complaints and then disbanded groups. But dont give up at it like anything else it takes alot of practice and alot of wipes :)
Are those... youtube video tags or something?

Punctuation. Its your friend, and a tank is a tank regardless of which tank class it is, the player is the one who makes it look good.

It's all about knowing how to play your character.
People tell me all the time, they love watching me tank as my warrior jumps from one side of the room to the other, moving the pulled mobs and adds in any direction I want; like watching a champion sheep dog run his flock.
When a pally casts one little AoE, all the mobs come to him and he sits there holding AoE in the same spot; simple, easy, yes boring. Even so, its a game. It takes skill and practice, like playing Madden.
Learn how to pay attention to whole field, and learn how to move about it effortlessly. A great warrior tank is one of the most awsome things you can ever see in WoW; watching him move about, herding up the mobs and snatching adds. It's like an art form and not everybody can do it.
Thats why most people in the game are a DPS class; because they can't handle the skill required to force the mobs to do what they want them to do. Then you get wipes and complaints and then disbanded groups.
But don't give up. Like anything else, it takes alot of practice and a lot of wipes :)
Ode to the Warrior Tank. Fixed for readability.

I've tanked as both Warrior and Paladin and I must say I actually found paladin to be slightly funnier. Can't really put my thumb on what makes it funnier, I just finding it that way.
Sadly I can't tank any more than 10man raids though, got a really crappy comp that sometimes loves to drop to 0-1 ms.. Bleh :<
P.S If this is not related to the topic I apologize. Tried to decipher the text as best I could x)

I wouldn't be proud of moving mobs all over the place. Running mobs all over the place is not a good practice. AoE usually needs to be kept in one location if possible. If you keep moving mobs everywhere, you are taking them out of the AoE DPS.
Mobs in one place >>> herding mobs all over the place.
There are obvious exceptions, but you should generally try to keep mobs in one place.
All that being said, warriors definitely have awesome mobility. I get very jealous when I'm tanking on my Pally, and there is a warrior tank in the raid. I feel like I'm moving in slow motion...
QFT. Moving mobs just to move them isn't good tanking; it slows down melee DPS and, without prudent range-checking, can lead to tank deaths if the healers don't move as well.
I do agree, though, that it's impressive to watch a Warrior tank charge around between mobs; of course, a Druid can do that too, to an extent...

Well, i myself enjoy tanking with my paladin, it's not easier than a warrior, but it isn't so serius and it's pretty fun, tbh the thing you say about preshing Consecration and sitting down while keeping agro on everyone mob on you, not going to happen, Cons is just one part of the rotation, if i find a pally tank who just spams Consecration whenever he can, he is not going to hold agro for very long, you have to use abilities other than Consecration.
I used to have a warrior back in tbc and i tanked quite a bit with him, mostly heroics.
If i remember right it was just spamming Sunder, Devastate and thunderclap etc. Tanking was really simple thus leading it to be boring too.. "those were the days"
But! Tanks, both warrior and paladin have both chanced from time to time.
And i think that warriors really aren't that boring when they were in tbc.
Point is that it's stupid to assume a paladin can hold agro forever with just Consecration..
