Prot pally (specced into Reckoning) using Seal of Light and Judgement of Light in a Block set. Yep, seems about right.

Prot Pally is by far the best due to having 100% block.

Having both a holy/prot pally and a DK specced to dps and tank, I would agree that the majority of the time (well almost all the time) the prot paladin does better in soloing instances. However there are occasions that the DK wins out. The one that sticks out most in my mind was a certain boss in BC. There were adds that would blow up and heal the boss and while I took minimal damage from it, I couldn't keep up with the healing with the pathetic dps from prot. I finally had to ask a friend to help out and kill off the adds to keep the healing down. As the DK I had no issues at all with the fight and was able to solo it. Sometimes when there is a "trick" to the fight like a count down or stacking enrage timer, due to the slow kill time of a prot paladin the DK is a better choice.

pathetic dps from a prot...for one...are you out your mind...any good prot will get a mass damage weapon and worry about stats else where...my prot does awesome damage...id love to duel your blood dk lol

i dunno... but i can solo most of kara as a blood DK.... which i think is pretty cool..
i can also solo VH.. havent tried the others yet..
