how is this build for a solo warlock
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IxMoZbgIzIidcest
why would you put points into Imp Voidwalker, and enslave demon if you have a fell guard pet??
You need to re-think and optimize your solo build. My Build for leveling, before I switched to afflict was

At 50 you could also switch to felguard (something like this :
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IE0MiRbkqtbo
), since it's a very efficient levelling spec that allows you to solo most of the mobs and quests easily (up to 2 man quests, like the Nagrand safari bosses).
Once you've finished the demonology tree, you then go back to affliction for instant corruption and improved drain life. That way, you'll still be able to easily finish fights with full life/mana.

- This is my current spec. It would be better if I actually were hit capped, but sadly, I am not, and this provides - somewhat - for casual pvp. Also, I have seen raiding specced more as 43/0/18, not 41/0/20, to provide for Nightfall. An instant cast SB, regardless of GCD cooldown, can still proc ISB if it crits.
One would argue that the following points would be moved into Shadow Embrace, but it's entirely situational and not always necessary - Howl of Terror (2 points), Curse of Exhaustion (1 point) and/or Imp. Healthstone and/or Shadowburn.
A typical DS/SnF build might look something like this:

I'm not entirely sure what would be best, I haven't specced for it and don't plan on it.

Guess I'll post my question here...my warlock is quite new (lvl 18) but I'm planning ahead...so far I have this build:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IyMbmRfzqtbo0xZxx0z
I have I have 4 points left...what should I spend it on? get imp. life drain and round out suppression? What should I put it in? Thanks in advance
Edit: I just want a general build, decent in both PVP and PVE...when I get to 70 I'll respec depending on what I wanna do.

and if you say no to CoA then is this ok now?
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IVMrVRfkqtbo
And what about Malediction and Unstable Affliction ?
That's a pretty standard affliction tree to UA. You'll do well with that.
Malediction isn't something for a leveling build. Curse of Shadows is a curse you'll only be using rarely (to overcome resistances) outside of raids. Agony, Doom, Tongues, and even Weakness have more utility for you now.
UA is another DoT. It shines in PvP, keeping people from removing the ones you've applied. It's also about as efficient as corruption, so it makes for a good pulling spell. If you're deep in affliction, you should take it - and I've never heard it refered to as "worthless".

thx! but can you tell me on what shoud i put the rest talents (20)
i am thinking about Demonology but i am not sure,,, :/
Destruction. At least ISB, Bane, and Shadowburn. After that, you can throw the rest into demo for better durability if you want to pvp at level 70, or you can go to devastation and destructive reach if you want to maximiize your utility in pve.

No, and no.
Improved Drain Soul and Malediction are **NOT** PvP talents.
In your 44/0/17 setup you've bypassed shadowburn, which is a crucial affliction PvP talent. Not to mention that you've done nothing to address your survivability. Devastation is wasted against anyone who has any kind of PvP gear.
In your 44/17/0, you've not only thrown away points on Malediction and Imp Drain Soul, you've pitched another 12 in the trashcan in demonology. Fel Stamina, Fel Intellect, and Demonic Aegis are mediocre at best. Fel Domination is only useful in conjunction with Master Summoner. Improved Health Funnel is just... bad. Demo does not come into its own until you are very deep in the tree. Use it for the excellent tier 1 survival talents, or go whole hog and go deep.

Curse of Agony or Corruption in a long fight?
How is this an issue at all? Both, if you aren't using the curse slot for something more important.
