So if Thrall went to start a new Horde, a peaceful one, and Garrosh a bloodthirsty (like old days) one, which would you follow?
The wise Thrall?
or the bloodthirsty Garrosh, son of Grom?
Me? I would follow Thrall, I think a horde led by Garrosh would consume itself in rage.

Thrall. I don't want to fight an eternal war. My characters (barring Dag'rema who is pure EB1L) want a safe world for their kids. Thrall has worked hard to redeem the orcs and doesn't use more force then necessary when fighting the Alliance either.
Besides, Thrall would win in a fight too.

I'm Alliance, but if I was an orc, Thrall.
Garrosh has ruined so much crap with the Alliance releations already, why the hell would I follow someone who would surely get us all killed?

Lore Thrall all the way, but In-game..... neither of them; in-game-Thrall does squat, and Garrosh is kill-happy-manic-depressive-emo kid.

Thrall, because he might want to share his "buddy" If you get my drift. *wink*
Plus Garrosh is a twat. But most people dislike Garrosh to be honest...

umm if you didnt notice alliance= bad guys horde =good guys they had a reason to go out and smell the daffodils
It really isn't that simple. The Alliance and Horde both have good and bad in them, this has been explained time and time again. Velen and his people are a part of the Alliance, but Velen helped purify the Sunwell, thus redeeming the Blood Elves. That's hardly bad.
On the other hand, you have kings consumed by anger (Varian) who want to cleanse the land of Orcs and the forces of the Horde, permanently. This is not a good thing.
The Horde are races working with one another out of duty or for mutual survival. The Orcs are trying to act honourably to break the stigma associated with their people, the Tauren wish for peace, the Darkspear trolls have become more civilised (as a whole) and the Blood Elves have been redeemed.
However, there are war-mongering A-holes like Garrosh around who will stop at nothing to smash some Alliance good and proper. There are also the revenge seeking Forsaken, and much of their sanity has been lost, although there may be a change on how the Forsaken act in the future. Crazy zombies and people asking for a fight is not a good thing.
It's also worth noting that the Alliance have many rights to feel the way they do about the Horde, because of the Fel Horde which they fought against in the First and Second Wars. However, some of their attitudes are shifting to peace-making, like Jaina Proudmoore.

The use of the name of "Horde" Spurs enough emotion within many members of the Alliance. For good reason. After all, they were nearly conquered by a Demonic Horde. The undead/blood elves are hated by the Alliance for a reason in the eyes of a Human or Dwarf, even if we don't see it as justifiable.

Thrall.. Hands down. And I would like to add that I honestly Cannot see Thrall handing control of the horde over to Garrosh willingly.. He's simply too smart to do something so careless. If blizz does actually make him do this, its a Major slap in the face to all true horde players out there that know better.

I can honestly see the Forsaken join Garrosh in their quest for revenge. And when they're done, they'll just betray him.

Eh, captain Anger wants the orc's and undead dead, I doubt he really cares about either the Blood Elves, Troll's and Tauren's at this point.
See, I think this might happen with some of the Forsaken. However, I think that Sylvanas and her loyalists would stay loyal to Thrall's New Horde, due to the fact they helped her retake the Undercity. That is, if that was not all a set-up.
I'm not to sure about that, after all Garrosh is all about killing Humans, and we know Forsaken hate the humans. Sylvanas might not join, but those that stay with her would be pretty small..... unless you know, Sylvanas is back to her old platform of kill all the living.

Lets see.
Thrall: An intelligent, strong and foreright leader who gave his people salvation, as well as the Darkspears and Tauren, built a foundation of his people and allies to stand and grow strong, and gave even those who weren't warriors a chance to live there lives in relative peace, as farmers, merchents, so on.
Garrosh: Following old first horde methods of 'KILL EVERYTHING NOT ON OUR SIDE AND CONQUER ALL!', willingly destroying all the horde has worked for, betraying the orcs own allies, and eventually leading the horde into a crap hole where they are the bad guys again.
What do you think?
Also, to pvpers out there saying its great to spur on war between the alliance and horde with all this, there has never been needed a reason to stop doing that, and if you think sacrificing lore in terms of peace for some repeated battlegrounds is what warcraft should be about, then you should get lost and go play warhammer or something.

blah blah blah people always want to go the peacefull way me i would be killing peps right beside garroshWhy?
Do you just not care about the lives of those you're killing?
In my eyes, Alliance lives are equal in value to Horde lives. That human mother that was killed in the First War is as much a loss as Thorm's mother's death in my series. I don't think that innocent people should be killed for no reason. Do you?
