Well let's look at what happened the last time the Horde was led by a bloodthristy savage.... oh right, he was eaten by demons and his little puppet got killed by one of his own soldiers (For those who don't get the reference: Gul'dan, Blackrock and Doomhammer.)
Edit to go with Hospy: Simple for the Taurens, they can head north and join up with the buffalo people.... I mean the Taunka.

What I'm wondering is this: Would it be possible for the Horde to go into a civil war?

You mean, Thrall's loyal Horde, the Troll's, the Tauren and probably half of the Blood Elves vs Garrosh's Horde, the Undead(because lets be honest, the Forsaken would join in with the "Kill all pink skins!" brigade) and the other half of the Blood Elves?

yea but you forget 2/3 of stormwinds population is farmers and women so... reallyu they dont outnumber the horde at all mabey population wise but not warrior wise
And... your point? They can recruit, and people will defend their land if threatened.

Aye, the Troll's and the Tauren, not counting the Taunka, are the least population heavy, the Forsaken are at a set number as "new ones" (lorewise) aren't appearing to fill in for those lost in the Battle for the Undercity. The Blood Elf race is recovering from the Scourge assault and Kael'thas's madness but their not at the same numbers they were before the 3rd war.
Player's aren't counted as "actual beings" as they don't have a connection to actual Lore. Not to mention Horde and Alliance player population all differ according to server.

So are Orgrimmar's. Believing that every orc, tauren and troll is a warrior, or even close to that is a misconception IMO.
orcs are the only horde race id see farming really all other get food by hunting and even then thats what orcs do for the most partDoes the
Cultivation
racial mean anything to you?

Doesn't mean every single member of a Tauren, Troll and Orc tribe would be ready to fight. In most hunter and gatherer groups, maybe only half of them are warriors, the other's do other jobs around the camps.

All-warrior societies simply can't flourish.
I mean, what about craftsmen? You can't expect that Tauren tailor npc in Campt Taurajo to just up and fight. Point is, Alliance number
are
an advantage.
