I cannot confirm this for the moment but the part about Cairne Bloodhoof does make a lot of sense.
Until we get something from Blizz, consider everything else merely fan fiction.

Sorry del, I know you want a good discussion and I will discuss the expansion, but not that crap. That is so obviously someone just passing it off as "official" infromation.

I wouldn't mind them reworking and repairing some of the destruction to Azeroth. That's a good thing after all. And they are trying to recreate the Circle(guardians of Trisfal) in the comics, which points at Med'dan(yes I know he has haters), possibly taking over for his father as the Guardian position which has sat empty for almost 35 years.

Well, here's the grand question: How/why would it be Thrall chosen at the next guardian? That makes no sense, he's not from Azeroth(as in his speicies), he's already a shaman, they usually have the guardians as pure mages, and yeah, he's the Warchief of the Horde, so it's not like he would willingly take on the the mantle of Guardian.
Atleast Med'dan has his Father's powers, so it makes more sense for him to become the Guardian.

The Blood Elves ending in Civil War against the corrupted government and becoming High Elves again, eventually.
That is hard to say, I wouldn't really that would happen as even though they are no longer the addicts they once were, I can't see them going back all the way to being high elves. Most of those that stopped the corruption did so in the first few months after the Sunwell destruction. Even if they try the purification rituals now, I don't think it would hold and turn them normal.

Wouldn't this make the Tauren leave the Horde? Not to mention me?
Honestly, Guardian or not, Thrall would put Garrosh's head on a pike if he murdered Cairne.

If Garrosh is made Warchief, I'm not playing Horde any more, unless there's some sort of chain to dethrone him. Thrall is my idol, and Garrosh shouldn't even hold the position he's currently in. I don't know how Blizzard would think that anyone who plays Horde would WANT him to be Warchief.
I'd probably just quit WoW and just play Warcraft III all day until Garrosh gets the boot.
As of right now, I'm calling BS.
I could accept Thrall as the Guardian though, although it would require a Christie Golden novel to explain it. Garrosh being Warchief though, I will not, ever tolerate.

Heh, I call it major BS, just because trying to shoe-horn Thrall into the Guardian position makes no sense.
