Putting a cooldown on shifts
kills
the druid. That would destroy us in both PvP and PvE. Shifting is what druids
do
. Could you imagine if there was a 5 second cooldown per buff totem for a shaman? That would destroy gameplay.
Holy Priests don't have shift. Does it kill them? Do they get destroyed in PVP? Oh, yeah, I guess it does. So, what are you complaining about?

Our shapeshift cooldown is our mana: we can't shift out of every snare or we'll go oom at the speed of light.

Being out of mana is better than being dead, don't you think?

I don't really see the difference, If am out of mana, the only thing I can do is to bash with my 2h.

A well played druid is a hard class to catch in any situation even when outnumbered.
I think a cooldown on travel form would be effective without breaking the class. It is just a little unfair to remove all snares AND run 40% faster. Every similar "remove all snares" effect has a cooldown as does every speed increase.
And a druid can shift / reshift about 50-60 times before going oom (travel form shifts).
In all honestly healing specced anything is a little tough to beat as healing per second is always higher than damage per second; resilience doesn't help either. Crying won't change it so we have to all suck it up until WotLK when every class will be totally broken for about a year and we can all trade tear stained handkerchiefs.

No kidding. Reroll Disc and stop complaining. Almost every class has a definitive spec for PvP.
Wrong. Although Disc may be a powerful Arena spec, I don't think its much better than Holy in the BGs. Besides, many classes have competitive PVP builds in ALL talent lines. And several of those classes are not only much more survivable than a Priest, but actually heal better than a Priest. That's a problem. Deny that it is so

Bad player blames others =)
If you are rogue, then wait for shapeshift and deadly throw or shadowstep
Use Wounding Poison+Crippling Poison (Shiv if possible)
Also good idea to save sprint for roots and counter cyclone by trinket
U see, now u learnt how to fight with druids ( write this down )
BTW, if you managed to AFK-farm the pvp gloves, then your deadly throw interrupts spell casts, ( regrowth mainly but still nice)
Good Boy
One thing, this will force druid to eventually either go "oom" or die
For warriors, harmstring, intercept (probably after shapeshift) plus if you running behind druids and cant hit him - u will go out of combat ->charge+harmstring. If you have mortal strike, please use it. and again there are several abilities which allows to break movement impairing effects plus trinket
Paladins, Judgement of Justice ( in case you didnt know this is what does JoJ means). Blessing of freedom and Hammer of Justice and Repentance are good tools if timed properly.
Use brains, read tooltips on abilities. Noone said it will be easy to beat druid. It should not be easy to beat druid. Druid does not easily beat you ( if you have brains and read tooltips on your spells)

I didn't bother reading this whole QQ fest but i'd just like to point out
Target cannot be damaged while it's cycloned, it can't also be mana drained.
Also note that your wrong, bubble, ice block does break it.
Also the duration is only 6 seconds (3 then 1). Druids do have plenty of abilities to escape.
You cannot bubble out of cyclone, and nothing infuriates me quite as much as having to trinket AND bubble to get out of cyclone and save my teammates from dying.
