Wait, did i read that right? you can banish a resto druid in treant form? Can hunters put em to sleep too? I'm not totally clear on the treant aspect, is it considered "beast" or not?
I know, nub question, but i'm not resto on my druid yet, he's only a 33.... Only class I know inside and out is pali.

Yes and yes but if they catch you casting it they tend to switch out of forms... or at least they should....
Anywho I thank those who took the thread from OMGZORS DROODS IMBA NERFBAT NERFBAT NERFBAT, to a decent well discussed thread from both perspectives
/applaud
P.S. all classes are easy to learn easy to get decent at and hard to perfect. Most classes are only really well played when your really good with them while others are quick to pick up. Blizzard intended this to be a game for EVERYONE to pickup "easily" or they would not have the largest playerbase of any current MMO. Playerbase = money. Like any game there are different level of gameplay and people on the lower levels complaining about people at the higher levels rocking them is an unfortunate side affect of better people providing themselves better chances to improve themselves through better gameplay. Vice versa better people tend to get full of their abilities and tend to think one of two things... 1. That the person needs to improve themselves or 2. That that person just sucks. I'm fine witht the first attitude as long as the person does offer method of helping them at the same time they tell them they are not good enough(best intentions people...), and for type 2 please please please don't go and tell someone they suck it's really not nice :/
Remeber there are 2 types of "noobs":
1. Those that are starting to really learn the endgame aspect of their class or are just starting out... these should be cherished and helped along they can be a pwoerfull ally with the right help even if they turn out to be only mediocre.
2. People who have the "I'm better then you additude" and refuse to learn the game from helping people... these should either be given more time teaching them or placed on your ignorelist.
wow really long P.S. sorry about that but I felt it needed to be said...

In order to make druids less powerful in 2's and more powerful in 5's, I think Cyclone and Roots should be put on the same DR, but the duration of Cyclone should be increased to 8 seconds.
Do this, and roots would become unused, because no druid in their right mind would activate the DR on their most powerful CC without ever casting it.

the nerfs be a-coming.
or maybe not ... you know ...the lead developer plays a warr and the other plays a druid, so maybe a nerf will never come
Just because you think something is a good idea, and should happen, doesn't mean it will. What you need to understand is that Blizzard has teams of people that do this for a living. You (probably) don't.
Unfortunatly, such logic isn't going to stop someone like you, because the statements you make are based on emotional reactions to a bad experience you've had with druids. (BTW, please show us on the doll where the bad resto druid touched you)
Also, Eyonix playes a Balance Druid, and he doesn't PVP with him.
