These questions are appeals to ignorance - you may not know the answers, but they are answered (imperfectly, but adequately) in any of the various countries that have made heavily socialized medicine work.
You appeals to the contrary arguments are demonstrably oblivious (whether intentional or unintentional) by the consistent failures in socialized medicine in any of the various countries where it has failed.
From now on, just say "nu-huh" to my posts. It's less typing for you, and has the exact same meaning. In other news,
NYT claims that Stuxnet is confirmed to be a US move against Iran
.
Even though the article seems entirely unsourced, from all the apparently insider details it's hard not to wonder if NYT has tacit approval from the administration here.
Of course it comes from the administration. It was a good move for the Obama administration, and looks good on them, and this is an election year. It's a campaign move, and a clever one. Obama doesn't have to brag about himself, and looks golden. I'm surprised the word "gutsy" isn't anywhere in the article, or "Obama 2012".

I imagine this article will get lumped in with all the "Proof of the Zombie Apocalypse" articles that have been circulating the internet lately.

Oh more then likely.
As for the article; I'm guessing that was just more a mass hallucination of grief then 'reality'.

Well, it was the same day he was declared dead, and I am not familiar enough with Brazil's medical system to know how likely it is that the child was accidentally pronounced dead. More likely than mass hysteria to that level, would be a medical mistake in declaring him dead before he actually was.

"Demonstrably"?
Demonstrably
. You get to add a new word to your vocabulary. I suspected it was a word before I used it here, but hadn't bothered using it because I wasn't sure, until I heard it used on a Mitchell and Webb episode. Lovely Brit comedy.
Where, when and by what measurement? What? Do you
REALLY
want me to cite countries where socialized medicine has failed? Do you think there aren't any? How about, "Every country in the USSR". Did I win? lol
Really, fenomas, you must have been tired when you came up with this reply. You usually do a much better job tangling up the conversation. You didn't even straw man my argument, or dump a whole bunch of inconclusive data on it.

CNN op-ed examining the potential value of European austerity.
I for one, agree. I think government should stop spending money if it doesn't have money to spend.

Don't troll please. I was referring to the fact that you claimed "demonstrably" while ignoring Lore's request for you to demonstrate something.I'm not trolling at all. You put the word itself into quotations. I didn't add it to my vocabulary until recently. I used to just say "could be demonstrated". PS: Japan. My assertion wasn't that socializing something has never worked, but that it has repeatedly failed. I'd be interested in a study of the number of times that socialization has worked vs failed. On a similar topic, Obama cried out for another stimulus today. Heh. What is the "tongue in cheek" definition of insanity?

I'm not trolling you, dude. I haven't said anything toward you that is inflammatory or grotesque or anything. I just find your lack of argument uncharacteristic of you. I think half the reason you assume I'm trolling is because of your assumptions about my character. Perhaps you should try taking my posts more at face value.

Good
CNN article
about what liberals want from Obama. Add in a dash of cult of personality, and voila, you have egotistical nonsense that we are currently stuck with.
Fox article
on the leaks investigation. The info leaked was classified, potentially compromises the national security, and is flattering to the president. Based on the information leaked, it is first hand info coming from the same room as the president. I highly suspect that, especially during the election year, it would be linked directly to the president, an attempt to show how "gutsy" he is. I think it is despicable, but I'll wait for the conclusions of the investigation.

I've never understood the point of a parade to show pride in sexual orientation. It isn't something I would do.

I've never understood the point of a parade to show pride in sexual orientation. It isn't something I would do. I don't like Pride, but the point is supposed to be that if you can be proud of your sexual orientation, no one can use it as a weapon against you, as many in society try to.

Uhm... it's just not something that I think is other people's business. I guess the same reasons I would never let people use it as a weapon against me is the same reason I wouldn't hold a parade.

But if others thought your sexual preference was their business and tried to make you feel it is something you should be ashamed of your entire life then getting together with like-minded people and letting the world know that, not only are you not ashamed but you are proud of what you are might be more important to you.
Try imagining yourself in other peoples' shoes once in a while. It might broaden your horizons.

People try to make me feel that being a Christian is something to be ashamed of due to how dumb it is (they say), and I still don't feel compelled to hold a parade.Try imagining yourself in other peoples' shoes once in a while. How do you know what goes on in my head? This question isn't rhetorical. How do you, asakawa, know that I don't try to understand what others are going through? If, as I suspect, you can't read my mind, then on what basis are you making this statement?

Your words.
I was merely suggesting you might get results from imagining the lives of others. You're welcome to reject that suggestion of course.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##
