Well, being a database site, you might try using the database:
http://www.wowhead.com/?items=4&filter=qu=3:4;ty=2;minle=200;ub=11;cr=123:119;crs=3:1;crv=0:0#0+2+1
<- hit

<- expertise
That's for armor. Weapons would be another query.

With the end-game raids that are currently deployed on the live realms, it's been proven
that you don't need to reach a "full" hit cap in order to maximize your DPS. Therefore,
it isn't exactly mandatory to gem/gear/enchant for hit, hit, and hit. As melee, you should
focus on just reaching the hit cap needed for special (yellow) attacks only. Trying to achieve
the cap for white "normal" attacks is too much of a hassle, and no use at the moment.
Try to utilize Wowhead's item database by applying a filter to the armor and weapons searches.
Make sure that the search engine only comes up with items that have hit rating on them,
and drop from the appropriate heroic instances. (Make sure to read the "source" notes carefully;
applying the Heroic filter also results in drops from Heroic raids)
All in all, if you still cannot achieve the yellow "soft" cap with gear from heroics, you can
resort to gemming. Gems are best saved for other statistics, but it's not bad if you need to
insert some +hits here and there.

With all due respect, maybe you should first play a feral druid and then teach people about hit tap for Cats. Until then, refrain from giving bad advice.
Cats use one weapon and as such, their 'yellow' hit cap happens to be exactly the 'white' hit cap: 8%. If that is too much of a hassle to reach (264 hit rating), then I can assure you maximum DPS will be a hassle as well.
pelf
provided a nice selection of items from which 8% hit and 6.5% expertise should be fairly easy to reach.

Since we're talking about hit, though, have you looked at the math/theorycraft for why Druids don't need to maintain hit cap, Aa? Have we already had that thread on these forums? I forget...

This
is one reason and
This
is another you can toy around a little and you find out hit is not that big improvment then raw str/agli/crit/ap but this only prove it math and gear , not the "fight"or "boss fight" as parrazell cover that not always work, since a miss on shred can %^&* up Rotation and make you drop Rip for few sec because you need to shred again to build it up = wasted energy
its not big boost but it's very easy to archive today and recommend to get it, since its pretty easy to get

OK all of you who downplay hit and expertise, go and fail rotations. If you are content with 3000 DPS, I am not. I want 6000 and I get it with hit and expertise caps (or pretty close to them).
With all due respect, L2P before hiding behind 'mathematical' arguments. A raid environment is by no means a mathematically optimal situation. And besides, if reaching hit and expertise caps would have been some tough goal then yes, it would have made sense to focus on other stats. But with all this gear FULL on hit and expertise that can be found in every raid (provided by pelf for instance), and the relatively low amount necessary, I suggest that, instead of posting here, you'd better
GTFO
and play your mediocre style if you wish (this is specifically directed to that 'smart guy'
Gesha
- maybe you will click the link to my druid's armory and notice I am not sitting exactly at the caps with either hit or expertise and also that I have 627 passive ArP rating - but that choice came after a point where my gear allowed me to reach those values without any gems so I
do
have an idea what I am talking about).
Yes,
pelf
, I have read that thread, I have posted many times in that thread about the importance of hit/expertise and other stats compared to them. I said it there, I'll say it (again) here: whoever likes math and target dummy DPS and bases his arguments solely on that without taking into account real raid environment experience
is a fool
. I don't care they are called '
Emmerald
' or '
pelf
' or otherwise. Even disregarding caps, the hit and expertise values should be high enough to ensure a 99% steady DPS flow (all the mumbo jumbo about trading some amount of hit / expertise for a certain quantity of 'better' DPS stats and its efficiency has been discussed there, no point in doing it again).
With the number of timers that need to be (almost) perfectly weaved together, feral DPS needs hit & expertise caps (or at least within a 1% margin of error). Otherwise it
FAILS
.
parrazell
said it as well.
PS: I know, I am an as
s
. Thank you.

Well, I didn't intend to whip you into a frenzy there. I just forgot what your position on it was. I guess what I took from it was that I could stop doing stuff to make sure that I was exactly at that 8% mark. Unbuffed, I think I'm at 6.5%, which takes me to 7.5% in raid situations. I've looked at parses for entire nights of raiding with that percentage with one, two or zero misses. 0.5% is a very low chance, to be sure. Luckily it's quite realistic to get nearly all the hit we need from gear without resulting to augmentation by gemming or enchanting.

Reading this made me want to puke. Get a better attitude or gtfo.
Aa's probably not leaving any time soon. Get used to his special style or start ignoring him.
