And yet I can't tank as Ret?
This is Bull. Despite the fact I love throwing my shield at people.

You must have horrible healers.
I always encourage my tanks to go DPS if they have it as offspec.
Just as long as they keep threat increasing abilities/talents so I don't end up healing 4 DPS instead of 1 tankdps.
Ret is especially good for this since RF is common to all paladins.
There's few thing that can overtake a ret pala with RF doing 5k dps when it comes to threat.

This is really hard to pick 2 diff spec for prot pvp.
Prot PvP 1
: 3% more dmg to any class by ur attack from Crusade
Prot PvP 2
: dmg to range caster that crit you for the Eye for an Eye
I did try them both for testing and they doing pretty well in arena or bg.
Why is that 2/3 AD? because that is for me to pvp. So you can either use 4/5 reckoning and 3/3 AD or 5/5 reckoning and 2/3 AD.

As patch 4.0.1 prot has (imo) become quite viable again. I'm running around in full relentless gear and
Wrathful Gladiator's Slicer
+
Wrathful Gladiator's Barrier
and can do some quite heavy damage due to AS and ShoR. For clarification, AS has a talented CD of 15 seconds. With
Grand Crusader
you can be pretty nasty to casters. ShoR doesn't do that much damage when it doesn't crit. But when it crits, it's huge.
is your friend here.
From my experience and testing, I found it best to use: AS > ShoR (when having 3 stacks of holy power of course) > CS / HotR depending on number of enemies > Judgement.
helps A LOT when healing yourself in the middle of a fight.
Just thought I wanted to share this, have fun!

Sounds good! Thanks for the heads up - I've been meaning to test it, but I'm too busy enjoying Arcane while it lasts :P
I'll put some thought into Protribution again soon.

Paladin at heart, mage by alt. You'd be really surprised - it seems most of the regulars here have a mage alt. They're all fire though - I'm the only Arcane one :P

I was actually arcane from 62 (or 64...I forget what level you get AB) up to 75 (<3 FFB)

I did plan to get
Icecrown Glacial Wall(removed BV)
for the str and I dunno that 3
wrathful

I think ICG Wall is better stat for prot pvp and Im not so sure of it then help me out.

I've been thinking about this, and I can't get past the fact that a Protribution talent spec is almost exactly identical to a standard Prot Tanking spec (as opposed to a WoG tanking spec).
Either
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#sZRrRfRzdRMucb:sz0VzR
or
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#sMZRrRfRzdRMuc:sz0VzR
for more self healing.

I have a question about 4.3 and vengeance! Can we stand, should we stand in AOE to accumulate it?
If the healers can take it, definitely, because it stacks MUCH faster now.

Isn't that less reason to stand in it? Since you require less damage to stack it up (so you may as well only soak non-avoidable damage).

Wow, I didn't notice someone replied to this. It's probably too late, but a couple of things to note:
a) Discussion around private servers is against the terms of Wowhead.
b) The links are all based on the Wowhead talent tree calculators, so they would be permanently lost, I'd say.
Read through the thread to work out which talents to pick, I think. Most should be self-explanatory, but there's plenty of discussion around some of the more contentious ones.
