I've never gotten a druid past 8. They're such a borefest at low levels. And I hate night elves, and the tauren forms look awful.

Death Knights.
Too many new buttons all at once, I like how starting a toon at 1 introduces all the abilities gradually and gets you used to them.
Same here. I started a DK and tried it like 5-6 times. I really hate being full-blue with new stuff to learn at level 55.

I can't play as a beastmastery hunter or a demonology warlock.
Might be a pride thing. I like to think that I'm the one actually doing most of the damage. I don't ever want there to be a competition between me and my pet.
I don't actually care about damage meters. This is just one of those things I do to take away the boredom of grinding and farming. Give your characters little backstories.
Besides, having a frenzied tiger or an already uppity felguard starting to think that maybe he can take over, if he catches me slipping.
No, I prefer for them to know that I can destroy them if I need to. It's just kind of a safety thing.

Off topic:
Does anyone else associate words with colours or am I just wierd?
No, it's something called synesthesia where you associate things like letters, sounds, colours with other things. I have it too, all numbers have personalities to me, all graphemes have a color to me.
In this case, he said warriors are brown and mages are baby blue. Those are the colours associated with the class in addons like Prat and Perl Unit Frames (when you have the name coloured by the class). If priests are associated with white and paladins pink, I think we found the source of your impressions :)
edit: removed the On Topic part, since this isn't anywhere near on topic

Priest, the class doesn't appeal to me very much and I find it them kinda squishy.
Warrior, I'm not sure about this because I had a level 29 twink warrior s long time ago but now I kinda don't want to start leveling one. I guess the stance system might have something to do with this one.
Paladin, I had a bet with my friend who said that I can't level paladin past level 6 and I lost, nuff said? The main reason is auto-attack, that's all you do with few judgements in between before you hit level 50. (Yes, I know that's not the truth but that's how I see it.)
I have leveled two level 70 druids and am leveling third one to level 80 now, tho. o.O

For me, it's Warlocks. Sure I think the idea of the Warlock is cool, but in my attempts at actually playing one, I've never been able to really pick it up. Another would probably be Druids. It's sort of the same story with the lock in this area.

Priest and Mage.
Every time I have ever tried one I end up stabbing my eyes around level 20. OOM, drink. OOM, drink. OOM, drink.

I have never been able to get past level 8 with either a mage or a priest. I'm used to my plate and actually being able to take a hit ><.
