So, perhaps less pissed and possibly showing some actual intelligence.
Right, because Alleria has ever been shown in any other mood other than pissed.
=P
We're not talking about a reasonable authority figure like Anduin or Lothar here, we're talking about Alleria. ALLERIA, a hot head who's head is so hot you can practically boil eggs on it.
Let's hope she's mellowed or at least shows some sane intiative, otherwise we may see her as suffering from chronic Blizzard female syndrome.
Don't keep your hopes up man =/ I don't really see them making a change when it comes to females in wow. After what MoP did to Jaina and Zaela, I've simply lost faith in blizzard to properly handle a female character.
Just you wait, when Moira turns out to have been plotting all along I'm not even gonna pretend to be surprised.

Well, Moira would hardly be a surprise. Scheming Shakespearean wannabe is fairly her whole personality at this point. The only women Blizzard knows how to write are villains, though their personalities tend to be more or less shades of one prototype.

just like Vereesa, Alleria is married to a Human
Elven female and human male relationship, how original.
But there has been some time on a alien planet. And love is not immortal and the kid is 50/50 on if he is canon or not, he is not in the book or anywhere in the expanded universe, only shows up in the game and chats with troll bane.
I realy wish Alleria joins the horde. Or else we are just going to get a Vereesa 2.0. Alleria will just be too identical to Vereesa, and some trophy wife of some boring human.
And I realy hope they start sinking some human male and elven female relationships, they where original in Lord of the rings, but not anymore. Now it's the most boring cliché in a fantasy universe.
Sylvanas is a member of the Horde. Vereesa hates the Horde. Alleria hates Orcs. If it is a reunion, it's gonna be the two living sisters together to kill the undead sister.
I think Alleria will be hesitant to kill a member of her own family, undead or not. She loves her family.
And Sylvanas also loves Alleria.

Well it's not like "human female and non-human male" is more interesting.

Agree.
Well Blizzard is going to sink the Dragon and Jaina ship, so they seem to be learning.

I'd like to see a canon Horde-Alliance pairing. Thrall and Jaina were interesting before both of those characters were driven into the ground, but it's a little more daring than the old human-elf pairing. I mean, elves are pretty much exactly humans with longer ears. Not really a bold shipping move. When I see an Orc-Dwarf pairing, or a Troll-Night Elf pairing, I'll be intrigued.

What about a Goblin-Gnome paring?
I mean, elves are pretty much exactly humans with longer ears.
Depends on the universe...

I still think Night Elves should have looked like
this
. That would have been interesting and more or less original. Instead they ended up just being nocturnal, purple skinned Tolkien elves played straight. Noble, forest dwelling, immortal, guardians of nature.
I would have liked to see them as savage, violent, and brutal immortal guardians of nature.

Looks like tuskless trolls. And you know how we fell about tyrandes voice actor..
guardians of nature.
I'd rather not see more night elf lore become druid lore or vice versa.
I'd rather see vicious sentinels and mystic moon priestesses.

I don't necessarily mean it should be more druidic, I just wish that if they were going to go with the druid thing, they had gone in a different direction than Tolkien's elves.

Indeed.
I wish they didn't make the night elven society so druid centric.
I want to eat meat in RP!

And Sylvanas also loves Alleria.
He's 100% canon, as Trollbane outright says that he's there kid. And Alleria does love her family....and seeing the abomination that Sylvanas became, would be enough for Alleria to attempt to kill her; after all, she's not an Elf any longer, but an Undead, and look what happened with the other Undead that Alleria has had contact with(G1 Death Knights). Alleria would not join the Horde...because again, the Horde has Orcs and that is the one race she hates above all others.

And why does she hates them? because they burned some trees. Seriously that's as far as the extent of the damage the orcs did in the second war, they never managed to actually enter the kingdom or attack villages or anything, so they just killed rangers, and burned trees.
Dare you imagine how would she feel about a race that clasps her kin in chain, marches them to the Violet Hold TWICE, attempts to commit genocide on them, and leads a lynch mob butchering civilians and shopkeepers in the middle of the street?

Dare we imagine she joining with the side that orchestrated the whole debacle? Dare we imagine her joining the side which has as a major figurehead not only one of those which
did
manage to put her kingdom to the sword, but masquerades in her sister's body performing unspeakable crimes?
Really though, Alleria joining the Horde has about as much a chance as Baine going to the Alliance. More likely she'll side with the High Elves who remain or continue to orchestrate works in Outland.

And she's married to a Human. For all we know, she may be disgusted by the depths that the Blood Elves fell to before the Sunwell was reignited; that Fel was a pretty powerful taint...and who else were tainted by Fel? Oh right, the other race she hates so much she went out of her way to slaughter them as often as she could, whether it was a battle or not: Orcs.
There's also the fact that she hates the Undead as well; she tried pretty hard to kill the Death Knights she ran into...can't see her looking at her sister and not wanting to kill her on the spot.

We'll see when it happens. Me, I don't see her EVER turning her back on her people, let alone working side-by-side with the alliance after what they pulled off on the blood elves.
And her being married to a human doesn't mean much. One of Varian's best friends is a blood elf, that doesn't mean he magically trusts every single one of them. Jaina was very close to Thrall before, that didn't stopped her from sending spies to his city. Plus, them still hooked up is not a guarantee. Just putting it out there.
And besides, almost every paladin of note has a tendency of going neutral, so why would anyone auto-assume Turalyon WILL be working with the alliance? Kadghar didn't, and he's a human too. Uther was as alliance as alliance can get, and yet he had no problem helping and advising horde players in Icecrown Citadel. For all we know, Alleria may as well be disgusted with the way the alliance treated her people, but at the same time be disgusted with her people's choice of new allies, and simply not join either side.
That too is also a possibility.

It's possible...but considering how close the family was, I could see Alleria going back to her living sister and joining with her against the Undead and Orc forces...again: This is the woman who Turalyon knew was killing captive orcs and didn't do anything about it, since he was letting her work out her hate and rage.
Also Rank, it was more then just 'burning trees': Several members of the family were killed by the orcs during the Second War, including the sisters' parents, their youngest brother Lirath, along with numerous relatives of varying proximity. To her mind, every orc she kills is one more closer to wiping out the race for what they did to her family.....and well,
considering what Zendarin
was doing, and what he threatened to do, can see that casting a pall on the Blood Elves, especially looping it back to the taint thing from earlier.
I could see Turaylon pulling a Tirion, but I just have a feeling that Alleria will be on the Alliance side when she returns.

Right, on the one hand she has a sister that helped her people survive in azeroth and secured them a prosper future (Sylvanas) and on the other hand she had a sister that butchered blood elven civilians in the middle of the street.
Gee, I wonder which one she's gonna side with.
For all of Sylvanas' faults (and light knows she has MANY) she's never laid a single finger on the people of Quel'thalas. Can you say the same about dear ol' vereesa? no ye can't.
again: This is the woman who Turalyon knew was killing captive orcs and didn't do anything about it, since he was letting her work out her hate and rage.
Exactly, she was that pissed off at the orcs. Can you imagine her reaction when she learns what Jaina did, and even worse, what Vereesa did with Jaina's blessing? We're talking about killing civilians man. She doesn't care who's guilty and who's not, remember, she's a stuck-up elf, on her mind, ANYONE so much as harming a hair on her people, is just a bullseye on her mind.
I could see Turaylon pulling a Tirion, but I just have a feeling that Alleria will be on the Alliance side when she returns.
Meh, what can I say? I don't. Not after the purge of dalaran. Not after having her people clasped in chains and marched twice to the violet hold for no reason. It doesn't matter if it was done by a single individual or a consensus, I just dont' see her working side-by-side with the same people that pulled those events off.

Again...that's if she considers the Blood Elves to be her people: She's got a thing about tainted races after all. And her 'people' are, at this time, the High Elves, since we don't know if she's undergone the Hunger like the other Elves did following the destruction of the Sunwell.
Edit: Also, you are assuming she's gonna believe Lor'themar over her sister; there's that too.

Koltira feels neglected.

You are assuming she will side with the blood elves as opposed to the elves who not only avoided the taint of fel magic, stayed with the faction which did not try and burn down her home nation and killed numerous members of her immediate family, is the one her husband and actually living sister is aligned with; but rather she would side with the blood elves who enslaved a Naaru, whose agents helped deploy WoW's first weapon of mass destruction and later grabbed a second one thus revealing if the Sunreavers went full Horde they could literally portal right into an enemy capital city, and whose king tried and bring Kil'jaeden into the world. You know, the guy who orchestrated the orcs creation and who also helped create the Scourge.
...Yeah, all things considered the blood elves have an unfortunate tendency towards screwing themselves.
