In Wowhead's defense, the way that the WoW Armory does glyphs is a little weird. The WoW Armory doesn't link to any spell or item IDs for the glyphs, it just supplies text like so:
<glyph
effect="Increases the chance ..."
icon="ui-glyph-rune-9"
name="Glyph of Growling"
type="major"/>
Because of this, when we read the glyphs, we have to match the name to something to get an ID. I can only speak for Quick Armory, but most of the time, we get matches on the glyph items. However, at least with this example, it looks like Blizzard is using the glyph spell that actually modifies the stats. The only "Glyph of Growling" is
the spell
. The actual item is "
Glyph of Growl
". (See
search
.)
Thanks for saving me some "wtf?" time.

Defense skill from
Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle
is not added to the Statistics > Defenses section.
Profiles cannot contain Unicode characters.
See
Ðiffie
for examples of both.

When picking enchants, instead of sorting by name, please sort by required enchanting skill, descending (or item level for permanent enchantment items). That, or allow sorting in that little picker window.
The picker windows are filterable, and we do recommend you use the filters to find what you want. You're not going to enchant an item because the enchant is a 450 skill or because its name starts with an A, but because the stats it provides are useful for your stat/spec.
Yes, that's true. The point is, though, that people at less than level cap are going to be far less the people who are using the tool to mess with gear configurations than people at level cap. For people at level cap, an estimation of relevance for enchantments based on skill requirement or item level is pretty accurate. I would like to see the sorting
combined
with the filtering -- not replacing. So, for example, if I bring up the window and type "agility", I see the highest agility enchant
first
not somewhere based on whichever superlative term Blizzard used in the last expansion for new enchants.
See?
Oh and I forgot this one:
When typing, for example, "Conqueror's..." upon getting to the apostrophe, the suggestions break. Apostrophes are handled correctly by the main search box.
Another thing that broke the suggestions (for some reason; I don't quite get this one) is trying to type "Legguards of Cunning Deception". Search for "Cunning" finds them, but "Legguards" returns nothing.

I reported the same issue earlier, so you may want to look into glyph of hunger for blood in addition to glyph of growl.

Has anyone else had problems with their profile page dying after bookmarking characters? I bookmarked 4 or 5, now my User/Profile page is missing all my comments/posts/characters. I'm only assuming this is a result of the changes profiler my to my profile.. if no-one else is seeing this, then I'll raise it in a different thread :)
Of course, this kind of anonymity is nice :)
Sorry about that, was a stupid javascript bug. Should be okay now.

I'll save you a little more. Here are all the ones I've found where the spell doesn't match the item (and it looks like the spell's actually used,
not spells like this
)
Glyph of Growling
Glyph of Mana Tide
Glyph - Aimed Shot
Glyph of Curse of Exhausion
Glyph of Disenegage
Glyph of Shield Slam
Glyph of Healing Stream
Glyph of Hunger For Blood
Glyph - Barkskin 01
Not sure about that last one, but it couldn't hurt to include. Note the misspellings and case are exactly what the spell is called in spell.dbc (not typos by me, heh).

Looks like ring enchants are not working when trying to apply them manually(as in trying to use the drop down menu "add enchant", they will only show up when the character is fetched from the armory.

>_<
Wowhead has NO idea what your look like. It uses the same base model for every character of that race/gender.

My title isn't being displayed. I'm not sure if it's particular to the title that I'm using (the Seeker), or if it has something to do with my character (Marroc, US - Twisting Nether, Horde. See signature for link), but other character's I've looked at have their titles displayed without issues.
It's persisted through several resyncs now, as well as browser cache refreshes on multiple machines.

It looks like, currently, there is no way to set bookmarked characters to "private" as there is for the custom profiles. I would love it if that was an option so I could keep track of my alts / friends without sharing to the world what chars I can be found on (and yes, there are more then ten!)
In general though, the profiler is pretty darn awesome! Nice work :)

I can't seem to equip my
Hellfire Warspear
(of the bandit), no searches come up with that as a result, or any random enchantment items at all. Where if I resync my character when he's holding it, it comes up fine. I really should put my spear back on fore I log out.

I second something like this...I'd love to keep track of a few friends, but I don't want their characters to be confused with mine on my profile :P

Rune of the Stoenskin Gargoyle
isn't showing on my stats at all. I manually added my character and items from scratch.
What as well if things like aura's or food or flasks or anything like that you can add onto your character? It would be nice to get the most out of our stats.
