I'm betting that women who play WOW typically do NOT play female toons, but rather are those buff Tauren or Orcs that no one hits on.
Why would they play a big buff tauren or orc? BECAUSE no one hits on them.
Guys play female toons due to the Lara Croft factor....if you're gonna be staring at a character's rear end for hours, it may as well be a good looking rear end.
I think Horde should have gotten playable ogres instead of blood elves. Dump the point-eared hairdressers and bring on the ogres!

- Lowbie players who open a trade expecting you ti give them something well your collecting items from the postbox.
- High level raiders who are so afraid of taking an risks they won't go into naxx10 unless everyone is already equipped with TotC heroic gear. Seems like that forgot they had to level up and collect epics too at one stage.
- Alliance that attack XR on a daily bases without reason (but usually die quickly and run away scared after one kill).

Gold sellers have to do it to feed their families, too. What we think of them in the game is not nearly as important as them making money, like in China.
That being said, I'm not sure if randomly whispering people in the game is a good business tactic. They could be farming more gold in that time.

1) bad tanks. been running a lot of pugs lately, most good, but a bad tank always stands out. they usually seem to be uncommunicative dk's. i've tanked before, i know it's generally a thankless job, but damn, take some pride in your work or don't do it.
2) running regulars. good luck, i've found. it's either bored, overgeared 80's, or over eager people that are too low level.
3) expanding on #2, people that ask for dps numbers for a regular run. this whole "must overgear everything" mentality that has taken over the game is very frustrating when you're unguilded and trying to gear up.
